Help!!! We're being

Help!!! We're being bombarded with hurricanes!!!

Hawaii has had FOUR HURRICANES IN A ROW!!! Hurricane Guillermo, Hurricane Hilda, Hurricane Ignacio, and Hurricane Jimena. Hurricanes Guillermo and Hilda have already passed, with nothing more than rain for our island, but hurricanes Ignacio and Jimena are both CATEGORY 4 HURRICANES!!!

Oh! That's..... adjectives fail me! I'm going to guess that your family is safe because you didn't bring it up, and if so, that's good, if not, I'm very sorry. Have any of the hurricanes come close to you?

Yikes! If I were in you're place, I would be freaking out right now. MA doesn't get too many hurricanes, and when we do they usually aren't very strong, so I don't really have any advice, I guess. Go to the basement if you have one and stay away from big windows because that's what you're supposed to do in tornados (I think). Good luck, and stay safe. Please try to post as soon as the storms pass.

@Dragonrider,

I live in the nicknamed "Tornado Alley", so I think I can answer your inquiry on where to go for tornadoes. Yes, you were correct; if you are under a tornado warning you should go to the basement (if you have one) and stay away from big windows. Good for you to know that!

@Kate-the-Great,

I will have you in my prayers! I agree with Dragonrider--whenever you are safe, please let us all know!! I really hope that you are safe and sound as I'm typing this! I wish you the best!

It's really cool you live in Hawaii! But I'm sorry about your hurricane problem. I hope you're okay. Good luck!

Don't worry, I'm OK. We mostly just had TONS of rain and some strong wind, and yes, we do have a basement. So, again, don't worry.
