Wow, it's not that rare . . . Sorry, rant, it's just that everyone on this site seems to treat Jews that way . . ."Wow, you're Jewish? So is my aunt's boyfriend's cousin's dog's friend's owner!"

Even though I'm not really into the whole religious thing, I am considered Jewish, and I celebrate Hanukah, and sometimes Passover!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my dad has always been Jewish, so he didn't do it. My mom wanted to do it though, and she asked my sister and me if we wanted to also. I did!!! :)

Yes, I go to synagogue (I think that's what you meant by Temple) and do the holidays, but we don't keep kosher. (at our synagogue, that's okay. It's a very loose and free-form kind of Judaism) My sister and I have so many digestive problems that to add another set of restrictions would be too much. You're not interrogating me; I would be curious too.

Yes, I probably do mean a synagogue, but around here, jews call it Temple... I don't know why. Plus, I've mainly heard it from my mom's family, and they're a little out of the loop. :)
I'm glad you aren't feeling cornered, that would be uncomfortable!!! (all squished up between the edges of two walls... *shudder* NO THANK YOU!)

Yeah, I think it depends on where you live. Some places it's temple, some places it's synagogue. *shrugs* And, no, I'm not feeling cornered... I'm surprised there aren't any other Jews on here, but what does religion matter here? We're all friends. :) I wonder why the Admin snipped your comment.
