Wow. All I have memorized is 3.141592653... i kinda forgot the rest. I havn't been practicing for weeks now.
Anyways, with all this talk about pi, not many people know what it is actually. Well, it's the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. All the kids in my class just know the 3.14 part!
(A book said that since the universe went on and on and kept getting bigger all the time, anyone has equal claim to being the center of it.)

Pi is not only useful for circumfrences! It can be used for area of a circle (πr^2), surface area of a sphere (4πr^2), and volume of a sphere (4πr^3/3). It can also be used for volume of a cone (πhr^2/3) and surface area of a cone, or volume of a cylinder, or any shape that includes a circle:)
