Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Important Announcement!!!

Important Announcement!!!

Hey guys, it's me! Somebody!

So, this is a public service announcement. If you, like me, sometimes partake in the use of toothpaste, and you, like-- wait, what? No. Forget the toothpaste part.

Here is the REAL announcement: I'm taking a cooldown break from the Chatterbox. I'm not leaving forever! No need to worry about that! I'm just taking a break and will be back in about a month, maybe? Sometime in August.

My pets, AEs and I have packed and are heading out for an extended stay at our OTHER secret headquarters in the Almost-But-Not-Entirely-Real World.

Any RPs I am in, someone can have my charries, or put them in as secondaries, or just ignore them completely.

I was Aisling in the SI.

So, is that it...? Yeah.

See you guys in August! До свиданя! :)

THE POST IS IMPORTANT, BRAINIAC. Did you even read it?

Wow, I guess the Admins are letting us be rude now.

Not intentionally. To what are you referring?

@Admins, I was referring to this:

"THE POST IS IMPORTANT, BRAINIAC. Did you even read it?"

This seems to me to be condescending, not playful.  Name calling in a not-friendly-way is against the spirit o' this place, I thought . . . .

Yes, I did. I just thought Brainiac meant a smart person. It didn't sound rude to me.

@Admins, that is indeed what it means. However, when used sarcastically, as it was in this case, it means the opposite. Thus, it is rude.

Brainiac = good, but this not so nice person meant it sarcastically.
