Accident with a Glue Gun

Today I was working on a project, and I used a hot glue gun. Being me, I was extra cautious and made sure to excersise caution.

Well, I managed to drip a big glop on my leg (I was wearing shorts), and now I have a burn and part of the skin burned off. It hurts a lot.

Are there any other clumsy crafters out there?

l know how it feels. l once burned myself on a HIGH TEMP glue gun. It hurt like crazy. And there wasn't any cold water around.

Yeah, this one was high temp, too. The area is blistered and it hurts like crazy. Especially since, when I pulled the glue off, it ripped some of the skin. Ow!!!

Hmm, its doesn't seem like my comment went throuugh, so I'll repost.

I HATE IT WHEN I DO THAT. Cause you're like looking at the glop on your skin and it hurts like heck, and you know you're going to have to pull it off, so its gonna hurt more, yet you can't leave it there- its just the WORST.
