Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hey all.I gu

Hey all.

I guess you're probably wondering where I've been.

I kinda have too.

This past month or so, I've been going through some hard stuff. I'm not going to say exactly what, but for a week or so, I was at the doctors every other day, because my heart rate and blood pressure were really low.

Like my heart rate was 3 above hospitilization.

No, I do not have a weird disease. No, I am not going to die. My body was just messed up and I've been having to fix it. Some of you might guess what had happened- please don't say.

And how am I fixing it? Basically, by not moving. Most of you know exercise was a main part of my life. My doctor said it will be a long time before I can bike or walk the was I used to. I can't even describe how much this sucks. Biking, moving, that was where I processed everything. My life, my books, what I'm writing. To have this taking away from me, well, let's say sometimes I feel like I'm going insane:)

So, yeah, you'll proabably see more of me. I'm not sure. What have I missed in the past month or so?

Welcome back, Abigail. We're glad you're on the road to recovery. Best wishes as you continue finding new ways to "process everything" --maybe slower movement, meditation, sitting outside in nature, etc.

Awww, Abigail, that's terrible. I know what that's like, I have many sad memories of watching kids bike and run while I sit down and cry inside because I can't. =( I hope you can be more active soon!! I missed you. Welcome back!!

That's tough being bed-bound for so long. Good luck with that! Now, I'm going to give you a least of great things to do in bed:

1. Make madlibs with friends and family.

2. Play ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe until you become a strategy master.

3. If you have a phone and some friends, play Heads Up. It's a verbal charades game that's very fun.

4. Play endless amounts of card games. Master Speed and Egyptian War because they're the height of entertainment at public schools.

5. It's movie-watching time! See all the classics: Jurassic Park, Titanic, etc. Studio Ghibli moveis are fun to watch when you're stuck in bed. Dreamworks films are also awesome.

6. Watch a good TV show from scratch. People like Avatar and LoK. They're good. I have a fondness for Code Lyoko. I need to finish watching it at some point, actually....

7. Read, read, read. Now's your chance to read every series under the sun. If you like darker stuff, try Cormier (brilliant "kids/teens" author) or some Stephen King if you really want a thrill. For short feels-good stories, I like Sharon Creech and Each Little Bird that Sings. I am full of lies, those are often quite sad. So B. It is great. Read it if you've never heard of it. Get some really big, fat classics and go for it. Take down The Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, and Dune. Dune's a hard read, don't be upset if you can't get into it. Begin your high school reading ealry with To Kill a Mockingbird, Lord of the Flies, and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.

8. Come on the Chatterbox chatzy. There's almost always someone there.

9. A great entertainment website contains tons of fun games and some awesome humor articles. Check out "Things People Said" for a laugh.

10. Write a story or three.

11. Draw the bizarrest doodles you can think of and color them in. Rule: You can't have one color touch another color at any point. White and black are included in that rule.

12. Learn a skill or musical instument you've always wanted to do.

13. Learn a new language.

14. Fun games:

-Transformice is a fun platfomer game you can play online for free. It can be challenging at first, but once you get it, it's enjoyable.

-Three words: Neopets flash games

15. Start a newspaper where you publish the randomest thoughts in your head.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that! Well, just follow everything Ruby said, since he always has great ideas and I currently have none. Feel better!

Gordon says tpnb. Okay, so I guess Gordon thinks NB should teleport to you. Or toilet npaper.

Oh, sorry to hear that :( It must suck to not exercise or be active or... move.

As for what you've missed - not much. The AE conflict and impersonations have died down, so that's good. I missed you - I hope you'll recover fairly soon. (Although it sounds like a long term problem.)

I'm sorry to hear that:( but in the last month I'd say that the CB is a lot more stable than before; the only tip I have is to stay as active with your mind as possible to take your mind off of not being able to move around a lot. Glad to see you back!

Eeeeeerrrrrrggggggbbbbllleeesss........I feel so bad for you. But it's great to hear from you Abigail! Nothing extremely drastic has happened in your absence. We've had a few...minor incidents. You know, one or two small mishaps. Me, Indigo, and one or two others got murdered on some train vacationing 'service' called the Happy Butterfly express. And there's a new ski lodge mystery game starting on June 15th that YOU MUST TAKE PART IN.
