Next year I am starting middle school. Any advice?
Also, I don't want to be friends with this one person for my own reasons but I don't know how to tell her. She hates when I do my own thing and will make an excuse as to why she was acting the way she was and try and convince me to be friends again untill I get so annoyed I have to say yes. I've gone through this a lot and I think this will be the last time. Need advice!

Okay, here are my suggestions:
Unless you live in a place where all kids go to the same middle school from elementary school, I say wait it out. There's only about three more months in the school year, and it's most likely that you and your friend are going to be going to different schools. Also, I suggest just not breaking it to her. Go ahead and hang out with other people, and slowly break away.

I know someone just like that who thinks that almost every girl in the entire 5th grade is her best friend. She is constantly mean to people and a lot of times she doesn't even notice. It's also really annoying that she thinks I'm the sweetest, gentlest, litte girl in the world. Once I said that I hated a certain type of food and she sort of smiled weirdly and said my name in a really surprised voice like she couldn't believe that I had said the word hate. I don't really have any advice for you except that if she's mean, try to stand up to her. I've always been pretty shy, but I've started to stand up for my friends when she's bullying them.
