I'm not even kidding. The doorbell rang and my brother got it. There was a package there adressed to me. It had a picture of an owl on it.

I opened it and found this:

To: ____________

The bedroom down the hall

_____, New York

Dear ______,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a ist of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Deputy Headmistress

 

(I cut off some more personal information.)

But unfortunately, I then unearthed evidence that it was fake. (warning: some of the evidence is spoilers!)

First off, the picture had AT UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT on it.

Second, the letter was framed and in a picture.

Third, there ws no enclosed list.

Fourth, underneath it said:

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(all of his awards listed here)

Dumbledore died. 

 

Still, pretty cool right?

Whoever sent that to you must be really happy with themselves.

When I turned 11 ( About, hmm, four-five months ago) I was so bummed that I didn't get a letter.

I'm pretty sure that I just disappointed some of you older CBers. I bet you were hoping that I was at least twelve. Well, sorry. I'm 11. It's not my fault that I was born when I was. Does being 11 change how I am in your eyes? I hope it doesn't.
