AE compromise?

So, I know that alter egos have been a crazy conflict recently here. So, even though I don't have any AEs, I figure that we can make a compromise.

We worked pretty okay with having AEs just on certain threads. Can we keep that? I am aware that because I did not have AEs, I might not know if that system was really working well. But I think that's the best way for everyone.

Because really, your AE is an extension of yourself, a new way to show yourself. It's still you. And CB is all about you, and your friendships, and your writing, and your fun.

I agree that maybe we should limit to one or two AEs, and of course, like everything on CB, people should be responsible. But AEs are a part of CB now, and we can't just totally get rid of them.
