Really. Why is this happening to the Chatterbox? Why is everyone pulling away from each other, going back into their holes?
Somebody, you are amazing. Abigal A., you are amazing. EVERYONE, YOU ARE AMAZING.
But sometimes we ALL need to shut up and listen to each other.
Everyone on here has a point. Yes, Pudding's Place is getting out of hand. But really, do we need to turn on everyone about it? Just make a thread, start to clean it up!
You, yes all of you, are more my friends than the 1 or 2 I have in real life. Don't pretend to understand that. Because you can't. No matter how amazing you all are, you can't understand that.
The topic of the year: Alter Egos. Like I said a few minutes ago, there should be some sort of system for that. But having an Alter Ego is like trying on a different skin. I never had any, but I can see where some would like to have one.
Everinne's leaving spurred all this. At least, it seems like it. Not that Everinne had a hand in all this. It's not her fault. It's not anybody's fault.
RED, RUBY, BHR, WRITINGWARRIOR, JOE THE STICKFIDDLER, PETE THE TROLLSLAYER ALL THE OLD CBERS: I miss you. I love you. But if the CB isn't right for you anymore, I won't force you back.
ABIGAIL A, ST.OWL, AIR, BROOKERIA, SOMEBODY, ALL THE CURRENT CBERS: Please. Don't forget what the CB used to be. But also don't forget that we all can give something to the CB, and that the old CB doesn't equal perfect CB. Remember how much writing means to everyone on here. Remember how much this community means to everyone. Nuture it. Care for it. Love it. Don't feed it the hatred.
There is an old Native American saying: There are 2 wolves fighting inside. One of hatred and one of love. Which will win? The one you feed.
Keep that in your brilliant minds. I might leave for a while. Just because this is causing me so much frustration. I'll give it 1 week. I'll try.
I pray for each of you. I cry when you cry. And I know you do the same for me.

Years ago there was great controversy concerning comments from Warriors cats. They seemed to be invading every thread. It was solved by confining them to a few specific Warriors threads, and we all moved on. I hope the same will be true for alter egos.

Oh, Young Writer, that means a lot!
I think we're working through this pretty well, everyone. Somebody, Abigail A., everyone who's left because they feel the CB isn't "for them" anymore, like Young Writer said, I'm not forcing you back. But the CB is for all of us. You guys are all my friends. Some of you guys live on the East Coast, some of you in Texas, everywhere and anywhere. But all of us come here.
I'm not saying that the "new" CB is better or worse than the "old" CB. It's all amazing! This isn't just a party -- it's a writing community. But it's not just a writing community -- there's always room for fun.
Everyone, I hope that you're doing okay and what choices you make, are the choices you make. But you all are our friends, and we can work together to make this the best CB ever!
