Pi day! Today

Pi day! Today is pie day. The first ten digits of pi are 3.141592653 so today, for the first time in 100 hundred years the first ten digits will be represented on 3/14/15 at 9:26:53. Which already happened this morning but will happen again tonight too. Yay! So how are y'all celebrating pi day?

We celebrate by making a blueberry pie and with the extra crust we make the pi sign on top. It's VERY good. :)

I was coming on here to make the same thread! As soon as I heard it was Pi day all I could think of was Masked Piester. For pie day my dad is making  spinach pie for dinner, which sounds horrible but is really good.

I went crazy! I texted Maple about it and she was like..... um... ok...? what?? and I was like IT'S A REALLY IMPORTANT HOLIDAY FOR NERDS!!! My math teacher wrote "SUPER PI DAY TOMORROW!" on the board really big in like 27 different colors.

Yeah I told my friends and only one was excited and the rest were like "I don't get." and I was like "It's amazing!" and they were like, "Yeah, to you, but you're a nerd." So I get what you mean, we can be pi nerds together. And I would type the symbol here because if you hit num lock and then alt 227 you can type it but it isn't working right now.

Meh. Pi day is just an excuse to eat pie. Watch ViHart's pi and anti-pi vids. She puts it much better than me, but really, WHAT DO YOU SEE IN PI??? And how much pi is pi over eight: 1/8 of a pie of 1/16 of a pie? I will be more excited on 6/28, Tau day! I'll be making tau and eating it. Also, we got pie in math class yesterday! And today... well.. *tries to get bit of pie out from braces*

Pi Day! I woke up to "Happy Pi Day!" at 9:26. In New York City they had a celebration at 9:26. Did anybody from Cricket Chatter Box go? MIT sent out their acceptance letters at precisely 9:26, so 3/14/15 9:26 was the moment.

We had potato pancakes. Which was completely and utterly unrelated, but we didn't have pie crust, OKAY?

Also, the day before we made a vanilla cake with blueberries and even though all the blueberries sank to the bottom it was still really good and wow this is a really long run-on sentence I should stop typing now my hands hurt.

I had an awesome pi day! Our grandparents came over and we ate pie and at 9:26:53 we all celebrated!
