Hi, Elizabeth! I've noticed you were gone, and I'm happy you're back!

Elizabeth!!! It's nice to see you again! Happy New Year to you too!

Yes, I did do a couple special things. On New Year's Eve, my extended family and I go to mass to celebrate the feast of the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God which is on January 1st. After mass, we go to a relative's house and open presents. After that, some of the adults go to the kitchen to make some really great foods like Cornflake chicken nuggets, homemade egg rolls, deviled eggs, BBQ chicken dip, fudge, baklava and a ton of other things while every one else starts playing some board games. We play board games and eat until a few minutes before midnight and turn on the TV to watch the ball drop. In the last thirty seconds of the year, we start counting down and at the stroke of midnight, we shout "Happy New Year" and give a toast. After that we play board games until we feel like going to bed. On New Year's Day, we always have a great big dinner, and that's pretty much it. This year though, my cousins and I got to do something really fun! We had a snowball fight...indoors!!! Our "snowballs" were pom pom ball made of white thread that my Grandma made. It was a blast! 

Elizabeth! Oh my gosh it's been so long! I'm so glad to see you again. :) 

For New Year's we went to my cousins' house - the cousins we usually see twice a year at best. I had a lot of fun with them. The Sunday before, we saw them and my uncle's family, some of the people there had last seen each other nine years ago. It was awesome. I had the most fun that I had ever had all year.

Hi, Elizabeth! I don't remember if we've met before. If not, I'm Ellie. I joined in July. I like to sing, act, listen to music (especially Taylor Swift), watch YouTube videos (Minecraft and The Fine Bros), play Minecraft, read and write (duh), and memorize song lyrics. I can't wait to talk more!
