Chatterbox: Down to Earth

2015 is almost

2015 is almost here. I cannot believe it. I really can't. I will never head my essays with a /14 at the end of the date again. That makes me feel sad. Very sad. It is like when you close the last book of a series and just feel like crying because it is over and you will never, ever  feel the characters in the same way again. You will never feel their woes or pleasures in that way again. If read The Giving Tree (by Shel Silverstein) right now I would cry. Then I would feel like the worst idiot ever for a while. (I recently finished a series. Now I get mad at dumb things because I am still recovering from it.)

Now that is out, what are your feelings about the upcoming year? Can you tackle it and score a touchdown? Or do you feel like it will punch you in the stomach? (Christmas did that to me, dang it.) How do you feel about it?

I loved staying up on New Years Eve and watching ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Wow, that's a lot of possessives! I loved seeing Taylor Swift. Poor Taylor! She was so cold. Then Ryan gave her his coat and she says, "What're you doin', strippin' down!? This is a family show!" That was funny and weird. Like, how many boys have given their coats to her before? Anyway, the show was good. My fam switched to the Food Network on the commercials and inappropriate stuff. My mom was very tired. We had fun.
