Debate game: this is a thread where we talk about whether things are true or false. First topic:
SANTA CLAUS.
My opinion: He is real.
My evidence: 1: My friend saw Rudolph.
2: My other friend's cousin found a piece of red fabric in her chimmney Christmas morning along with sooty footprints across their living room.
3: In some countries, he comes up to your door to hand you presents instead of doing it in secret.
4: Why not believe? It doesn't do anything bad.

I TOTALLY agree with you. Parents tell their kids about Santa and leave them in blissful ignorance until they are old enough to know he is fake. Santa Claus is a story meant to keep kids good for a while. To those of you who say they saw him, ANYONE can dress up as Santa you know. There are COSTUME for sale EVERYWHERE. And leave FAKE evidence too. Oh, and I'm sorry if I sounded mean.

My parents told me when I was really little that it was just them bringing presents to me. They didn't want me to be devastated later when I found ou that he was FAKE. You need to just accept that Santa isn't real. Someday you might be a parent and then what will you do? Then none of your kids will get presents because you are expecting Santa to come.

BWAHAHHA! Yesterday brought more proof! Santa gave me a nice DELL laptop. My parents would NOT buy that for me until I was a lot older. Also, Santa gave me Lord of the Flies. My parents don't think I am old enough to read it, but Santa must have other ideas! Sorry about typos I'm syill not used to this laptop.
At least one of us fixes typos, if there's not a huge list of comments waiting to be posted at the time.

It could've been a relative. Just tell them you don't believe, or that you found out for sure he isn't real, and most parents will immediately admit he's not real.

@ Debater13:
1. My parents don't take my letters, and honestly, I can't see the post office actually taking letters and hiding them.
2. It was only his hoof that hit my window, and there are no streets that a light could have reflected off of near my window. Actually, there's no light source that could be reflected at my window.
3. My parents sometimes read my letters, though not always. And that particular year I didn't even get a chance to write Santa.
4. In this particular place you couldn't hire or transport reindeer there. I also had no neighbors anywhere nearby at that time, plus, the reindeer were moving and walking.
5. Well obviously it's a cartoon, but it just explains many of the reasons that we believe in Santa Claus.

Actually, I kind of changed my mind. I heard the truth. My parents told me. He is real, but he doesn't leave presents or live in the north pole or have flying reindeer. He isn't really a person. But my parents said he is love and happiness and Christmas spirit. He is in every good deed. That makes him real. And even though our parents leave the presents, he is still very real. Quote the Polar Express:
"Seeing is believing. But sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see."
So Santa is real, just not in the way you think he is.

I have something else to say: I think that it is okay if you believe, and ok if you don't. I you do believe still, then keep believing. Don't let anything change your mind. If you don't believe, then that is just as fine. Everybody's opinion matters. I still believe. There IS Christmas magic. Santa is real too. He is that magic. And sometimes, you will meet him. Because he shows up sometimes. But he doesn't live in the north pole, or leave presents under the tree. But sometimes, maybe he does show up somewhere. Who did all the things that you can't explain? I think it was Santa. And all of us have helped Santa at some point. Whenever we do something that helps others, it also helps Santa. We are Santa's helpers, and we always will be.
P.S. I got my share of Santa magic, too. I know this is a weird thing, but I can't explain it, so Santa must've done it. On Christmas morning, there was a Star Wars action figure hanging from the top of our little Christmas church decoration. And none of us did it. So Santa must've.

I thought GOD did those things........that we can't explain......

Yeah me too. Santa isn't an all powerful being that is all those unexplained things, God is.
