Brrr! Winter is

Brrr! Winter is slowly seeping into our lives up here in VT- golly, winter is rather an ambivelent time of year, isn't it? On one hand, I'm excited to get our skating rink going, but I'm sorely going to miss biking.
What are you all excited for in this coming winter season?

In my family, we have this weird tradition of going to an amusement park in winter. Last year, it was raining the whole day, but it was awesome!! It's actually better in the winter, because there aren't super long lines for the rides.

Wow, I never thought of going to amusement parks in the winter! Sounds awesome!

Spammy says "ifnz". No, Spammy, I am not spending the winter in New Zealand!

Even though winter isn't here yet, it's starting to get cold here in Florida! It never snows, but we get those icy blasts of cold weather during the winter season. I love staying inside and getting cozy, but I'll miss playing outside like in the good old summer days! I can't wait for Christmas!

It's getting cold here in Texas, and dark too, because of daylight saving time. But it's getting near freezing - and the weather has been colder than usual this year.

Today at recess I got real cold. It was like 43 degrees, but I'm not used to it. So My friend had a Frozen shirt that said "I like warm hugs" on it. We all started hugging her and putting our heads in our jackets. The people in white jackets were all like, "I'm a snowman!" It was really funny. And we played kickball as snowmen! Tongue out

Here in VA, it gets really cold in  the mornings, but cools off around ten o' clock. I went camping a couple weeks ago with my girl scout troop. In the morning it was really cold, like cold enough to see your breath, but after breakfast we didn't even need a jacket.

Ah, yes, I too know what winter in New England feels like. It's starting to hit lows of 20 degrees in my neck of the woods. Forecast says maybe some snow flurries next week. I'm disapointed I probably will end my daily runs soon but the ski season is coming so thats a plus.

New Jersey is still as bright as ever! It's cold, but also sunny. Weird.

And we haven't had snow...at least, not yet.

I don't know if you guys know this, but I LOVE the cold. I find it so refreshing, unlike the heat. I hate sweat.

Like, everyone is saying, "It's so cold!" and complaining, but I don't get it! It's not painful or anything, so why does everybody hate it so much? Once you realize it's JUST A TEMPERATURE, you get used to it.

Plus, I meditate, which I suppose helps a bit. I know a method to make myself believe I'm warm. Works every time.

Anyway, yeah. It's cold up here, but the sun is still shining!
