Halloween is tomorrow, and I'm SO excited! Halloween is my most favorite holiday! Free candy, getting to cosplay, neat decorations, tv specials, sweater weather, it's fall, my most favorite season, and I get to be as dorky as can be all month long!
So what are y'all doing for Halloween? Are you going trick-or-treating? What are you dressing up as? What are y'all's family's traditions?
My family always get pumpkins from this same stand and do their maze and all, then we paint the pumpkins together when we get home. We watch tv specials and movies like Halloween Wars, The Little Vampire, and Pooh's Heffalump Halloween!
Then of course on Halloween, we go trick-or-treating! I'm going as Liesel Meminger this year from The Book Thief which I'm super excited about! Though currently, in my day-before-Halloween excitement I have streaked hair and painted nails and a Halloween t-shirt!

Hallo, all! This year for All Hallows' Eve I went as a hippie in bell-bottom jeans, a green and teal flowered tunic with three-quarter-length sleeves, a jean wool-lined vest, a headband, and leather boots. I also tucked a daisy behind my ear to give off a definite flower child vibe. Besides trick-or-treating, my family doesn't really have any All Hallow' Eve traditions, though we do a lot of Fallish things. For example: bonfire parties, hayrides, and making pumpkin spice latte syrup.
All of your costume ideas sound awesome! But I was wondering, what is your favorite type of candy bar to receive whilst trick-or-treating? My personal favorite is Milky Way. 'Bye!

@ Indigo: Well the point of NaNoWriMo is really just to get to writin'
that novel you keep thinkin' about. Though if you really want to hit 50
or 30 thousand, yeah, a thousand is really only a little.
@ Choca: That sounds hilarious! I can totally picture the costume! My family has a lot of fall traditions too, like baking and having time to go out and enjoy the fall weather and raking leaves into piles to jump in and whatnot. Oh my gosh, Choca I'm so sorry! I'll definitely go check it out, though please no worries or pressure. I understand completely. I'm so sorry for you and your family. My heart and prayers go out to y'all. Please give my best to your mom, I hope she recovers soon. Stay strong, I'm here if you need to talk.

Happy late Halloween!! I was Inky the Pac Man ghost, a costume I made with my mom. It looks like a turquoise/teal poncho with pac man ghost eyes :3 I loved wearing it!
Eeee I need to go reread The Book Thief now :D I'm sure you looked awesome as Liesel!

Guess what I was? Thero Backens! He is a shadow person, so that's kinda Halloweenish... Most people thought I was supposed to be some kind of heroic person who lives in the woods (Or Robin Hood)... Close enough. Some people actually thought for a moment and said, "Thero Backens", but they were of course part of my CCA club.
