When Klingons attack, feed them pink fluffy guinea pigs to avert travesty and save Darth Vader from Galbatorix's evil White Witch. And when John-Boy and Mary Ellen capture Black Minx, Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler will save Ilse and Perry from Orthanc to destroy the hope of the Dark Lord!
There, I got in almost all my favorite books/movies/old TV shows. Who knows all the references? There are nine of them. And whoever mentioned Hot Pink Bunnies, Muse rocks!

Star Trek, Star Wars, The Waltons, Harry Potter? I think I only know four. Am I right on these four?

Yeah, Cara, like the Black Stallion books. You got one of my references. I find that Walter Farley (or whatevery his name is) is one of the few people who can write horse books well.

And admins, you got 3 of the 4 you guessed. Not the Harry Potter books, but yes on Star Wars, Star Trek, and the Waltons. :)
-Emily
I thought the Dark Lord was used in Harry Potter, no?

I got LOTR from Orthanc
(April 13, 2009 - 6:14 am)
Me too. Aren't Dark Lords everywhere in fantasy? Oh P.S. I like the Waltons too!
(April 13, 2009 - 7:32 am)
Yep, Brynne, you got those right. And Admins, sorry, I haven't actually read the Harry Potter books (I know there will be gasps of horror - there usually are) so I can't refer to them. Sorry. I was actually talking about Sauron, but I didn't want to make it too obvious.

Yeah! There actually are people out there besides me who like The Waltons! I just watched an episode. It's sort of an evening activity for my mom and me. :)
