Also, I don't love middle school and am never bored like it may sound. I hate going to school after weekends and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO bored during MATH CLASS.

Oish, you're right, S.E. I'm in year 2 of MS, and it is really hard. Our district is weird, we start MS in grade 5. I feel like MS is really a huge deal and people change so much right before MS because they're... well... middle schoolers! My BFF changed over the summer before MS and then we basically drifted... she was so different! So people: STAY IN CONTACT WITH FRIENDS OVER THE SUMMER. Now I have new BFF, and we are still having fun together! Maybe she'll join CB... mouhahaha! But ya, it's rough. *curse both evil math teachers*

Aww, I feel bad for you guys. I'm a freshman in high school now, and I adore it! We're allowed to chew gum, use our phones, wear whatever we want (well, as long as we're wearing CLOTHES), go outside during free periods (this includes walking to nearby restaurants for lunch!), and just be ourselves! We don't have those school supply lists anymore; we're allowed to bring whatever we think we need, whether we like binders, notebooks, folders, etc. And it doesn't feel like school at all! We don't have lectures or a lot of tests or anything. We basically just have discussions, and we don't even have to raise our hands! We can just talk.

Here's a schedule of a typical day at my school:

7:30 - Leave for school - I'll either bring my own coffee thermos, or we'll stop at Dunkin' Donuts.

7:50 - Arrive at school. Talk to friends. Drink coffee (I'm obsessed). Sometimes I'll eat breakfast at school, but mostly I'll just eat at home before I go.

8:00 - Go to biology lab. Go on phone.

8:08 - Class starts.

8:59 - Class ends. Go to English room.

9:04 - Class starts.

9:48 - Class ends. Go to choir room.

9:53 - Either choir or a free period.

10:37 - Go to US history room. Either a discussion or a documentary movie.

11:26 - Class ends. Go to AP French! Yayyyy!

11:31 - Class starts.

12:15 - Class ends. And now I'm hungry, so you know what's coming next...

12:20 - LUNCH! I go to the band room and just talk and eat with friends, or sometimes I'll go to the library to catch up on homework, or we'll go outside.

12:45 - Lunch ends. Go to algebra.

12:50 - Class starts.

1:34 - Class ends. Go to the gymnasium.

1:39 - Last class of the day - P.E.! Yayyyyyyy! Usually we go outside and run around on campus, or if it's bad weather, we'll do something inside the gym - usually archery (my favorite).

2:19 - SCHOOL'S OUT! Go to girl's locker room and change back into regular clothes, and then head outside.

2:30 - Sit on bench and go on phone or read.

3:00 - My mom picks me up. And there ya have it!

This was a loooooooooooooong post.

Ooh! I'm a freshman too, and though some things are different at my school (we don't get free periods, and unless it's a special occasion we can't go out for lunch until senior year) but it's still pretty great!

7:30: I leave for school.

8:50: I arrive (sometimes I'm running a little late) and Put my lunchbox into my locker, then run upstairs and to wellness class. Wellness is a state requirement and it's pretty awful, but it's the only class I honestly dislike.

Then there's biology, which is always very fun.

Then math, which I sort of sit through; it's not terrible but it's not amazing. And then...

MUSICAL THEATER! I have zero musical talent but this class is SO. MUCH. FUN.

Lunch! My friend and I usually go up to our biology teacher's room and eat there with some other people, but sometimes I sit in the hallway, or occasionally with my senior buddy if it's a Thursday.

IS, which stands for Independent Study; I also have this with my biology teacher, and I usually use it to do my math homework in advance.

English. Favorite time of the day along with musical theater.

Spanish... It's seventh period, so everyone is kind of done by that point and I feel bad for the teacher.

Announcements come on at 2:58, and then school ends at three! I pick up all the stuff I'll need this evening, and then it all depends! My mom doesn't pick me up until 3:40, so usually there's a wide variety of things I can do. Sometimes I hang back and talk to my friends, sometimes I go to the downtown public library, and once a month I end up at Starbucks against all of my better judgment.

Then mom picks me up, we pick up my brother at his middle school, and drive home.

That sounds great. I have 5 schedules for five different days, no indepence, a horrible homeroom teacher who I'm stuck with for 3/8 of the day, and a horrible clss. I have chourus so I don't have study time on Thursdays (which is kind of good). Sorry i needed to rant. I'm so BORED!
