CONGRATULATIONS! :D

There's nothing better than the feeling of being published. Am I right? What is this magazine? I'd like to look it up.

Thanks, guys! I'd like to tell you the name of the journal, but you'd probably not be able to find it, because it's just for a few cities in my state. But I can post up my poems.

Breathing Out a Better World

Breathe in the poaching of cheetahs

Breathe out a new a rainforest.

Breathe in endless wars

Breathe out the smell of lavender.

Breathe in exhaust fumes polluting our air

Breathe out a sweet, calm summer night.

Breathe in world-wide famine

Breathe out freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies (with a
glass of milk).

Breathe in deadly cancer

Breathe out giant soap bubbles.

Breathe in dumping oil in the ocean

Breathe out a stack of newly printed books.

Breathe in crashing cars

Breathe out a soft, cuddly kitten.

Breathe in hurtful words and shouting

Breathe out a bright smile that will light your day.

Questions

Questions take us

To new places

Never before seen

Or conquered.

Questions are the spark

That ignites our imagination

Pushing us to invent things

Discover things

Perform amazing feats

Go beyond limits

To quench our thirst

For wanting to know.

One question

Leads to another

Adding more salt

On our thirst

For knowledge.

You can accomplish so much

With just a question

A small question

The spark

That will light your way.

Thanks again, guys! You're all so nice!
