Post your dreams

Post your dreams here. You know, the ones that you get when you sleep? I don't know why. I'm just curious in hearing about your dreams. My dreams are usually about people I know, and I always dream in third person. It's weird. Do you dream in First Person or Third Person?

Also, right before I sleep, I like to create my own dreams. Some people call it 'lucid dreaming', but technically I don't think I'm fully asleep when I do it. It's fun, though! I can look however I like, do whatever I want, be with whoever I want, and go wherever I want. It's a writer's dream! You should try it tonight.

But otherwise, I have super weird dreams. Once I dreamt that I was in my neighbor's basement, only the inside of their house in the dream was actually the inside of my house in real life. I had a suitcase and was sitting on the floor in front of the T.V. while everyone else (my two neighbors and two sisters) were watching a movie. I had brought over my scrap box (I use this for crafts, collages, and found poetry) and was making a collage. When I looked behind me, I found that everyone was gone (upstairs). Frantically, I tried to clean up, suddenly realizing that I was randomly making a mess in my neighbors' house. When I went upstairs, I found the mother of my neighbors leaning against the counter next to their dog. Now, usually they have a small little teddy bear dog, but this dog was a jack russell terrier.

Nonchalantly, I said, "New, dog, huh?" (which I found really weird when remembering the dream)

"Yep," the mother of my neighbors replied, "the girls are out back."

Just then, my sister burst in. "Maddie, Mom said we have to be back by 9:00 A.M.!"

I looked at the clock, which said 10:00 A.M. (I've read somewhere that clocks look different in dreams, but this one looked just fine. Maybe it was the fact that it was the clock that's built into the microwave?) "Dani!" I yelled. "Mom's going to be super mad!"

We rushed over to our house and then we were randomly transported to two picnic tables against a red brick wall. My two neighbors (both girls, by the way) sat facing me. My sister Dani sat diagonally in front of me at an odd angle, and I'm not sure where my youngest sister was sitting. Somewhere at the end of the table.

My neighbors' mother walked over to us and said, "Remember the Black Marias?"

I replied, "Like black-eyed susans?"

"No," replied my neighbors' mom with a firm voice.

"Oh, you mean like those puffy things and you can blow them?" I said (basically describing dandelions in a weird way).

"Yeah!" nodded my neighbors' mom.

Then she disappeared and it was just my neighbors, my sisters, and me.

A bee buzzed over to my neighbors and they became as still as boards. It circled around them and then went over to my sister, who frantically started to swat it. "AH! AHH!"

"Dani," my neighbors and I told her, "you need to stay still!"

She didn't listen, and swatted the bee over to me. "DAN!"

Then a bunch of other bees started coming straight at me (and now the perspective randomly switched over to first person), and I could hear a very loud buzzing. They all went towards my hand/wrist at a very high speed: BZZZT! and started stinging it, etc.

With a start, I sat up in bed; breathing heavily.

I had a really strange dream last night. I was talking with my mom about this girl who I knew, very slightly (not in real life, just the dream). I wasn't saying anything mean or nasty about her, just relaying some anecdote about her or something, but she overheard, and put up this really really vitriolic Youtude video about how mean I am and how no one should be friends with me and things like that. She was so offended that I mentioned her behind her back. Very creepy dream.

Most of the time I dream in first person, though sometimes I feel like I'm "narrating" the dream, or merely observing what's going on.

I do that "lucid" dreaming when I first wake up. It's really fun and feels more real than both sleeping dreams (because so many things are distorted) and real life (you can have an entirely new identity!)

I had a dream loosely based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland this one time. (I probably have Alice-related dreams a lot more frequently than I'm conscious of, really.) I don't remember the dream that well, though.

I had a kinda strange dream last night, the key points in my brain being that a few of my family members and I were in a restricted areaand had to get out without anyone knowing, a cousin who smelt of a seashore, like in Japan, and a beautiful fountain. The seashore smell really got me longing to see Japan again, and was a really vivid part of what I remember.

Last night I had a dream one of my friends and I were looking at clues which were on the side of pencils . Don't ask me. My subconcious made it up, not me.

I had a dream where my dad and I were walking to the gas station and a volcano appeared and erupted near us so we ran away. Then the scene vanished and I was in a hot tub with some random girl and then we got sucked down a giant drain.

The second weirdest dream I ever had was that I was in Carlsbad Caverns and went into an undiscovered cave. I was then chased by demonic cheese puffs.

OOOOOKKKK, Not weird..............

Hm. Yesterday I had two dreams, and one of them consisted of me meeting this girl from a different online writing website kind of like this one. In the dream, her soccer team was playing my sister's soccer team, although they are different ages. I saw her, and said, "Are you Xxxxx?" She told me she was, and it went from there. It was weird, though. It was kind of like what I was talking about on the thread that I made about what would happen if we actually saw each other in real life.

I had this really weird dream last night. My sister, mother, and I were out in my backyard. This Chinese girl sat down on the bench beside me and said, "I'm not good at donuts. I like soccer."

Then all of a sudden she turned into a really cute boy whom I had an instant crush on. He walked over to  a really big oak tree. When I looked up I saw a bright cave witha bunch of stalactites hanging from the ceiling. When I climbed up I saw the cave had turned into a living room and the boy was sitting there. Then that's it.

I don't remember what I dreamed last night, but one time I was riding the bus home, and then a looked behind us and there was a tornado! I shouted,"TWISTER!", and then the bus driver tried to speed up the bus but couldn't. It was actually slowing down. I noticed a guy in a horse-pulled carriage next to us, so I jumped out th bus window (you could never do that in real life!) onto the horse's back. The strings connecting the horse to the carriage snapped and we trotted off into the forest (which, there is no forest in the neighborhood that I was dreaming about). Instead of escaping the tornado, it turned and came right towards us. The horse I was on was just walking, so I shouted"GIDDY-UP!" and it started running. Then we were about to run into a tree when everything exploded in a flash of white light and I woke up.

Another time I dreamed that a strange new continent called Apple Pie magically appeared on all the maps and globes. Someone we knew started going insane, and someone else told me to save him, go to Apple Pie. So I gathered some friends and we went to Apple Pie. We had traveled a long way when we reached a building. We went inside, and it looked a lot like the upstairs of my house. I went inside the room at the end, and it looked exactly like my room! Suddenly, a shark popped out of the ground and we beat it up with sticks till it was dead. Then, I went back into the hall and was about to go into (what would've looked like) my brother's room, but this Gandalf guy appeared and said, "Go other way." So I turned around and went in through the bathroom that connects our two rooms. I turned on the light, and it turned on but didn't make any light. Then, in my brothers room, about twenty sharks popped up and I ran back to my room and sat on the bed shaking. Then, I woke up.

Okay, I know this sounds weird but I had a dream that BHR, Corina,
and I went all over the world and destroyed every thing in site until
the world was blown up and the three of us built a library on the Moon
and lived there the rest of our life's.

I know weird right?

I had a REALLY weird dream one night, where it was like a CB party, but it was at my grandma's house for some reason, and everyone was there except for Daffodil and BHR.

"Where's BHR?" I demanded as soon as I came in the door, not even bothering to say hello.

"She's home sick," Red replied over a mouthful of bright green gum.

And then it switched to slow motion and I was all like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" like, really dramatically.

"Don't be a baby," someone yelled, but they weren't even on the CB, and then we all screamed "STRANGER DANGER!" and then Corina knocked the person over with a lamp, and we all cheered.

"Hey, who are you?" Nina asked, walking up to me.

"I'm Nora the Singer."

"OMG! You're like my best friend on the CB!"

"I know, right?" I replied absentmindedly, but I was focusing on this purple flower in this gray vase at the back of the room.

Then Nina disappeared, and I spotted Joe the Stickfiddler.

"Hey Joe, where's your sister?" I asked.

"She's having a sleepover with BHR," he answered.

"I thought BHR was sick?" I wondered.

"Yeah, I lied about that," Red yelled.

Then I got like really angry for some reason. "WHY WOULD YOU LIE TO ME?!??!?!" I screamed.

Red laughed but didn't answer.

Then I stormed out of the room.

I don't remember many of my dreams, but when I do they're usually pretty epic. And also strange, but generally chock-full of story ideas! And strangely enough, I pretty much ALWAYS dream in third person. The only dream I can recall that was in first person had something to do with drinking a smoothie that made me shrink (and I hate smoothies, so don't ask me why I drank it), in an Aztec palace that was also underground and had an underground jungle running around it...

It would be really cool if we could really have a CB party, but I don't think any one else lives in Virginia.
