It was really great, per usual. Every year we rent a house close to the beach and go there for a week with our large extended family (nineteen plus three dogs!). There's all sorts of fun things, like surfing and buying excessive amounts of saltwater taffy and swimming in the pool and eating pizza and gift exchanges. This year was especially fun because I finally got to watch a lot of movies on my to-watch list, including the second Hobbit movie! (Everyone I know has been trying to get me to stop saying "I am fire. I am death." every ten seconds. They are all failing ;) )
