Hi Magic
Dragon! I'm new here, too! I just got here a couple of weeks ago. Everyone here
is super friendly. We talk about everything here! I'm a voracious reader and
writer. I love The Hunger
Games
and The
Maze Runner
. I'm entering a spelling bee next year and hope to get
to the Nationals. I'm writing a fantasy book about a world called Rembell where
there are giant birds!

Phew! I'm
out of breath. I hope you stay! Tell me a little about yourself!

Hi Magic Dragon!

I'm Teresa, a ballet dancer, reader, writer, cook, biker, artist and photographer among many other things.

Ooh! There's so many things to do on the Chatterbox! Definitely check out the Crowd Sorcery thing the Admin suggested; it's really cool!

In Inkwell, we've got a couple RP's and RR's going on. I haven't been on here in a while, so I'll let someone else explain what's going on in those.

Anyways, welcome to the CB!

First off: Awesome name! I love dragons!

Second: HIYA! I'm Blonde Heroines Rule (often abbreviated to BHR). A nutty, mostly insane, hyper giddy fangirl, author, Christian, nerd, bookworm, blogger, murderer (on TON's ski lodge murder mystery), the thing of Barbie's nightmare, and lots more that I won't mention here for fear of scaring you away.

With all that said, WELCOME! The Chatterbox is an awesome place to hang out. Everyone is supportive, kind, and we're all basically one big family.

A tour, perhaps? Okay.

We'll start of with each section of the CB:

This Month: Where we talk about the lastest issue of Cricket!

Chirp at Cricket: Where we talk about Cricket some more, hold many SIs (Secret Identities), have our CB "Stores", and sometimes hold Instant Chats (where the Admins give a specific time they'll be on, and can post our comment almost immediately. In fact, we're planning one currently. Check the "The CB is..." thread in Inkwell for more information.)

Blab about Books: Pretty self explanitory where we "blab about books". We talk about certain genres, specific books, authors, and hold book themed SIs.

Pudding's Place: Where we talk about movies, plays, and art! This is also where TON writes the Ski Lodge Murder Mystery (this is not graphic or gorry, or bad in any way. TON makes it as light hearted as possible, and even comedic, sending us all into great gales of laughter.)

Down to Earth: Where we talk about our lives and the world around us!

Inkwell: Where we talk authors, writing, submit poems or parts of our writing, sometimes for friendly and constructive critism, have RPs (roleplay), RRs (Round Robin), and a ton more fun!

The Admins: They monitor the site, reading over our comments before they're published. (So if your comment or other people's are delayed in showing, it is because the Admins haven't gotten a chance to review them, so be patient.) This ensures that we don't accidently let things we shouldn't slip, and no content not suitable for all age groups gets published. They are exceedingly kind, often offering encouragment and advice. We are all quite grateful to them because without them, the CB would not exist.

Well, things have been a bit slow lately, what with end of school, exams, summer starting, a little thing called life, etc. But some things happening currently:

TON is accepting people to RSVP for the new Murder Mystery, which starts on July 15! (And we are all very excited to see how we shall die.) Just go on, comment you'd like to join, and you're in!

Some RPs are either on stand still or trying to get going over in Inkwell, such as the Dystopian RP, Bookbug's Adventure/Mystery RP, S.E.'s Civil War RP, the pirate thread we've tried to revive, and a lot more.

The Instant Chat afore mentioned.

....

I think that's it? Ah, well, if I missed anything, I'll allow someone else to add it.

OH WAIT!

How could I forget?! *facepalm* It's sort of died down with life getting hectic, but several of us (me included, along with my dear partner Theo, and our wonderful army), are fighting for World Domination. I've forgotten how many people have created armies, though Red is leading the main other one. The thread for it is off in the back pages somewhere of Down to Earth, but if you are interested, you can join. (No hard feelings, all for fun.)

ANYWAYS there is BHR's Grand, Rambling, Hard-To-Understand-And-Likely-Has-Utterly-Confused-You Tour of the CB! Hope you get to stick around!

Hey Magic Dragon! I sort of introduced myself on your questions in Blab About Books, but I shall reintroduce myself anyway.

I'm Moss, aka Kyra (Kear-ah) and I'm a big Whovian, Sherlockian, X-Men, and reader and writer. I should also mention I also play the flute and have a new obsession with the Twilight Zone episodes with Rod Sterling. That's only a tip of the iceberg, but yep, that's me.

Random thought: There is also this thread at the very bottom of the page of Down to Earth for New People to say a bit about yourself and such. (Actually I'm a bit strange and like to see everyone on the CB currently documented there. I don't know, I'm weird. You don't have to do it if you don't want to though.)

That is all, I should think. Plus, Magic Dragon is cool name :D

Ahh, didn't mean to sound snide or anything. Sorry, I just like that page a bit and yeah... *sinks into couch*

Understood. If you want everyone on here documented, why not start a page where everyone, old AND new people are introduced? The new people page is kinda the same thing...

Hello Magic Dragon, I'm rather new too (along with my other, more human, identity), so welcome to the CB! As Bookbug said, everyone's very nice here, the admins are responsible and make sure no inappropriate or overly personal information is posted. I think you'll have a great time!

I'm a dragon too, by the way.

Hi Magic Dragon, I'm Ivy! I'm a Merlinian, a Whovian, a Potterhead and a Oncer, which means that I LOVE Melrin, Doctor Who, Harry Potter and Once Upon a Time. My other favorite books and authors besides Harry Potter are Rick Riordan, Shannon Hale, Jessica Day George, Dian Stanley, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, The False Prince trilogy, Anne of Green Gables, The House Above the Trees, and many, many more!
My favorite things to do are reading (obviously), writing, singing, climbing things, Rubik's cubing and dancing. I dance ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary. I'm homeschooled, but will be starting high school in the fall. I love cats, and have two named Mouse and Annabeth.

Welcome to the Chatterbox!

*rolls in James Bond style*

Magic Dragon! Hello!

I am Red, one of the now four boys floating around the CB, most likely the one with the most GUSTO. And Sparkling Charisma. *charisma charisma charisma*

There's not too much to know about me. I like playing video games, reading books and magazines, listening to music, drawing, and coming up with the worst puns known to mankind. Really. You don't want to hear these puns. They are deadly weapons, capable of putting listening ears in the hospitals for weeks. Why, back in the ol' WWII, the American government begged me to use my most lethal pun as a weapon against the Axis Powers... But I digress.

For fun things to do on the Chatterbox, I would recommend our ski lodge murder mystery! What the heck is that, you say? Glad you asked, I say! The murder mystery is a very fun (and extremely silly) game where a lot of people usually join. One person is secretely selected by the narrator to be the murderer. It's your job to figure out who this murderer is, but the suspects list is getting smaller because one person dies every day. The more the merrier, so it would be very fun if you joined! Please check out the "Day 0" thread on Pudding's Place to sign up. We're going to begin in about a month, so check back at the start date for the game!
