I'm entering a
I'm entering a spelling bee next year. My goal is to get to the Nationals. I know, I know, it's far-fetched, but hey!-I can dream! Because I'm homeschooled, I'd have to find a local school that would let me compete in their bee. I'm already practicing. Did you know that this year's national winners got a tie. That's only the fourth time it's ever happened!

Ooh! I love spelling bees! When I was in fifth grade I beat all the sixth through eighth graders in our school spelling bee, and got to go to regionals.

What was the hardest word you got at the regionals? My favorite word so far is brobdingnagian. It means "huge". If anyone's interested in competing in a spelling bee, check out the book How to Spell Like a Champ.

Ooh I did a spelling bee in 6th grade :D Surprisingly, I won. But it didn't go into the Nationals or anything. Gosh, I'd be even more stressed out with it on TV and everything. Not that I watch much TV but yeah.
