Who is your

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Who is your

Who is your and crush and why are they awesome?

Are they funny? Smart? Do they not know you exist and you just think they're super cute?

For me, it's that she's captivated me since I first met her last year. I saw her face, which was cute and pretty but in an unconventional way, and I just thought, "Yeah, I want to get to know this girl." Other then that she's hilarious, kind, ridiculously pretty/hot, and she's one of my best friends at school. We actually just set her up with a guy the other day, though, so...:/ (Ehh, I'm 13 I don't want a date. Still...)

For my other kinda-crush it's that she's like the smartest girl in a school and seems to like me. Also she told me this joke: "What's correct, the yolk IS white, or the ARE white?" (Answer at bottom)

My others are just cause they're cute.

Answer:

Neither! The  yolk is yellow!

Uh... I don't know.

Probably my friend. It's more of a platonic crush than anything, but still. And it's because she's so funny and nice and pretty and just yeah. When I first met her in 6th grade, I thought she was a bit odd, but now she's my best friend.

I don't have a real life crush that I know. I occasionally fangirl about fictional characters and, even less frequently, actors, but besides that, I really prefer to eschew romance from my entire mindset. It's not that I have a problem with it, but there's so much else in the world to think about, why clutter up your time with obsessing about someone you think you're in love with when you're probably not going to care about the person in a year? Or six months?

Anyone who knows me and reads this will think I'm a total hypocrite and ask me what I was thinking when I saw a poster of Aragorn (from Return of the King tra-la-la) and completely dissolved into a puddle. Or when I thought Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic was the most gorgeous human alive.

*major blush moment*

Did I just say all that aloud?

Titanic-era Leonardo DiCaprio is cute. I have to agree with you there. WHY HASN'T HE WON A FREAKING OSCAR YET? Also Johnny Depp needs an Oscar.

I was going to write about them here, but I realized it would probably hint at or totally give away a certain thing I don't think I'm ready to tell anyone who isn't on NaNo yet. Yep, that's right, I have a secret.

Anyways, all I'll say is that they are awesome and amazing.

Louis Tomlinson, okay?!?!

Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I know. I look like a six-year-old fangirling over One Direction, but let's face it - they're all pretty darn good-looking.

As for a real crush?

Haha, no.

Never had one, never will.

Because I'm so antisocial and stuff, I haven't really met anyone who might be identified as a crush.

@ Nora the Singer:

I used to think all of One Direction was adorable, but now I have to admit that they're all turning a little dingy: Harry and Liam both look twice their age--Zayn's not bad, if you can overlook the tattoos, and though Louis does give a slight Leonardo DiCaprio air (which he is so darn proud of), he is starting to get a bit scruffy too. Niall looks entirely too girly for my taste. I liked them best in the Up All Night/Take Me Home time, when they actually looked like lads and not like...old men...

@ Maggie:

There are way too many actors who haven't won the Oscars they deserve, two of which are Viggo Mortensen and Tom Hiddleston.
There is always hope for TH, of course, since his film career is just getting off the ground, but I still say VM should have been at least nominated for Aragorn. Or Frank Hopkins.

There's this boy named Ahmed that I know. He's just sooo cute! When I went to private school, he was in all my classes. When we would go play outside, I would stay in and read, then he would come in and sit with me. Usually, we would just talk about life and stuff. Most of the time, he acts like this tough guy and all, but when it's just the two of us, he's really sweet. The only awkward thing is...

I'M TALLER THAN HIM!

HEIGHT
DOES
NOT
MATTER
*seethes*

All right, sort of kidding. But really, I wouldn't mind dating a guy shorter than me (not that I'm tall, which I'm not, so I've never met a guy who wasn't taller than me). In the grand scheme of things, if you like each other, nothing should come between that. I'd totally talk to him. :)
