Does anyone do knitting or crochet? I don't knit, but I LOVE crochet! Does anybuggy else?

back to the Down to Earth

Well, my neighbor is REALLY good at crocheting, but I am probably the worst knitter in the world.  I don't even know how many times I have learned!!!!!!  I ALWAYS forget.  I've never tried to crochet though...

ANYWAY!  I an a GENIUS when it comes to Finger-Knitting.  I'm really good and fast, and I can do it while I'm watching a movie, or with my eyes closed!!!!!!!  Sometimes I even do it while I'm reading, but that's hard, cause I have to hold the pages open.  I'm really glad I have SOMETHING I'm good at!!!!!  :) :) :) 

 

Oh, and I'm not bragging, I'm just excited to realize I'm good at something.

Does anybuggy else finger-knit?

I can finger knit!:) Have you tried using pot holder loops??

My great aunt taught me how to knit.  I'm not very good at it and I can never remember how to start a new project or to end one.  The aunt that taught me how is really good though.  She and her husband make hats and socks for the kids in the school near them.  Sometimes, they even go in and teach a knitting class!  They live in Canada.

I knit some, but I really prefer crocheting. I like thread-crochet, it's a little more of a challenge than regular crochet (with yarn) and it comes out really pretty. I also spin and dye my own yarn, and occasionally do a little costume-designing, but since I'm not really into sewing, the costumes never get made.
