I once tried to be a vegetarian, but I couldn't stick to it because I like bacon too much! Why don't you eat meat? Even though I eat meat I wish the animals were treated better before they were killed. My family mostly eats free-range meat and poultry and wild game. I know that sounds cruel but more people need to eat deer because there are too many and there is not enough food (and the animals got to live free before they died you know?).

I've never eaten meat, so I don't get tempted too, although, one time I ate a red hot dog and it was the grossest thing I've ever eaten. No offence, or anything, but being a vegetarian, meat tastes gross. I don't think that it's cruel you eat deer. In fact, in Maine, we're having an over population of deer, because they don't have any predators. We don't have wolves, pumas, or anything, except for black bears, but I don't think they could chase a deer. So if you need some deer meat, come to Maine!!!

Yay I'm glad someone agrees with me on this! Eating wild game is better for the enviroment than eating farm raised animals. Farm-raised animals use up a lot of land and water while wild game uses what's in nature. Wild game is also organic! Plus it keeps the population in check! And by the way...GO VEGETARIANS! I just read an article that says by eating 1 vegetarian meal a week you're helping the environment! (Because they don't have to use as much resources to get the veg to you!)

YES YES YES. I am a vegetarian and have been since I was a baby. I was homeschooled until 4th grade. Read my comment on the post about frogs! I think it starts, "My dad says..."
I don't live in Maine but my mom wants to :]

I AM A VEGETARIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
holy cow this is exciting, i've never met another fully vegetarian before!!!
(oh, except i eat seafood. i love seafood!!!)
Oh, and no's to all the others, but my friend vacations in Maine!!
(August 14, 2008 - 5:03 pm)
YAY neither have I!!!! What made you want to be one? I'm not really sure, but there are a lot of issues about vegetarianism and I def. want to save the economy/animals. But mostly I just don't like meat. My parents always tell me that when I was a baby I even refused chicken/turkey baby food!!
I don't eat seafood but I think I tried flounder once. It was OK but it looked weird.

The only real reason that I'm a veggie is that I've always been one. My mom is one too, and she never fed me meat, so I never got addicted to it. I did have McDonalds chicken nuggets once and it made me sick...
