It's defiitely a big problem, and not just with dogs. Cats especially as well. I heard a story about a person who wanted their cat euthanized because she did not want the cat jumping on the table at a party. It's ridiculous!

Have you ever read the books Animals Make Us Human by Temple Grandin and Citizen Canine by David Grimm? They have a lot about these and they're really interesting nonfiction books.
