Hey guys ! So this year is the first year I've ever really worked out and played a sport and I love it . I'm in track , and I also work out a lot outside of school . My mom works at a gym , and the owner is one of our friends ( and he's also a certified personal trainer , so he's been training my track team ) so whenever he doesn't have a client he says we can go work out ...
Anyway , I really love it . Before now , I hated working out . I hated the buring sensation , I hated the stomach cramps , I hated the soreness and I just all around disliked intense physical activity . But , little by little I started working out , and then I joined the track team , then I started doing MMA ( which is PURE cardio ) , and now I work out whenever I want . So I work out about 11 or 12 hours a week . I can honestly see a difference . I hardly ever get sore , my stomach no longer cramps ( that was due to incorrect breathing ) , I'm A LOT stronger , my muscles are like really defined and I just love it . Working out gives me a sort of high .
Working out is MY time to focus on ME . It's how I let go of all the stress around me , and how I focus on myself and God . This is really something I'm passionate about . Physical health is something I pray upon everyone . Especially kids . . . it breaks my heart when I see overweight kids . Now that's not being condescending or judgmental , I honestly feel so sad for those kids because it's not their fault . It's the parent's fault . And even then it's not quite , because in America we have things backwards . The trash , unhealthy food is the inexpensive stuff but the healthy food is what is unfortunately out of budget for many people ( hey , I'm talking from experience . We struggle with this too ) .
I have 13% body fat , I'm 106.8 lbs , and I'm 5'2 , and I can lift probably 40 or 50 lbs of dead weight . I can run about 50 meters in 10.7 seconds .. so I'd say I'm pretty in shape lol . I honestly feel like Sports Medicine is something I could do as a career .. I love seeing people succeed and seeing people work hard to acheive their goals .
Well .. I really don't know where I was going with this thread lol . I guess does anyone feel the same ? What's your favorite type of workout ? What sport do you play ?
Oh by the way , I like upper body ( so core and arms ) . My favorite workouts are Russians , V-Ups , crunches , towers , planks , and running .

So we timed our 100 , 150 , 200 & 300 ..
100: 16
150: I don't remember . I think it was like 22
200: I think it was like 40 ( i was exhausted cause I'd already run alot )
300: 57
Yeah , my times aren't that good buuut I'm working on it .
We're now having athletics about 5 or 6 times a week /:
Oh aaaaand , *drum roll* I beat up an 18 year old boxing (:
