Names: I know this may sound weird, but do
you guys ever think about names that you would name your kids? Indigo
and I are really obsessed with names and their meanings. Also, I'm on
Nameberry, which is my favorite name site. ANYWAYS, list the names
you like a lot for boys and girls! Here's mine (and they're ranked,
FYI):

Girl's Names (as of this minute--I'm always
finding more):

Noble

Una: In an epic poem, the personification of
truth, beauty, and unity; this ancient name is popular in Ireland.
Also means: one, pure, innocent, together. P.S. Una isn't my real
name, I just really like it. I like Indigo, too, my sister's "name".

Reverie: (n) daydream. "Sit in reverie and
watch the canging color of the waves that break upon the idle
seashore of the mind." ~Henry Wadsworth Longfell

Echo: Pronounced Ek-O, "to have a continued
significance or influence".

Fable: (n); a story, conveying a moral. For the morals of
great stories told and those yet to be...

Indigo: Indigo has a
powerfully creative/artistic image. From the color name, referring to
a deep blue dye or the light spectrum between blue and violet. Indigo
and Sapphire go well together.

Sapphire: (n) a
transparent precious stone, typically blue. •a bright blue color. a
small hummingbird with shining blue or violet colors in its plumage
and a short tail. Sapphire and Indigo would go well together.
Nicknames: Saph(pronounced saff), Sapphy (Sa-ffie), or Fire(Phire).

Luella: "Make
amends", "warrior girl" also a cross between ella and
lou.

Henrietta: "Keeper of the heart", "Ruler of
the home". Nicknames: Etta, Hetty, Hen, Henny, Hennie,
Henriette, Henri

Cricket: "Loud insect of the night."

October

Anastasia: This name is taken from the word anastasis which
means "resurrection" or "revival". It could also
mean "reborn".

Gianna: "God is
gracious". Nicknames: Gia

Genevieve: Celtic-- Although the meaning is uncertain, the
closest is that Genevieve means 'lady of the people', taken from the
Celtic 'geno' which means 'people' and 'wefa' which means 'woman'.

Carbry

Renny: Mighty; to rise again.

Arlise: Pledge

Melvenah: This was a name
of one of my ancestors. I think it's pretty, although it's not my top
choice.

Boy's Names

Caspian: Place
name: the Caspian Sea is the largest inland body of water in the
world, lying between Russia and Asia, and its southern coast is in
Iran. Noble would be a great middle name, although I do like the name
as a first also.

Noble
Cypress: Like
the tree, Cypress(es) are known for their durability year-round. They
flourish in all four seasons, are beautiful, strong and have had
literary significance since the dawn of meaning. They're also
beautiful, as is the name, I think, which combines both a whimsy and
strength. Possible nicknames: Cy

Forrest: "Woods,
woodsman." A strong, strapping name rooted (ha!) in nature.

Ryder:
"Cavalryman", "Messenger"

Mordecai *influenced
by 100 cupboards series, you say? pssht, no...*

Cabe
Zair: Biblical
name-place: In the Bible, Joram and "all his chariots" pass
over Zair.

Faro: "Lighthouse"
(n) a tower or other structure containing a beacon light to warn or
guide ships at sea.
