Outline-A-Day Thread
In this thread, we will outline a typical school day, including the times that the events occur. Happy outlining!

(February 3, 2014 - 2:00 pm)
Most people have periods that happen at a certain time, but I have A, B, C, and D blocks. A is Social Studies, B is English, C is math (advanced, and my second year), and D Is science where we get very off topic and talk about weird stuff. So, it would be hard to say an outline.
(February 3, 2014 - 6:35 pm)
Typical? How about I just outline today:
3:30 My brain thinks now would be an excellent time to wake up. My brain and I disagree on this matter.
3:45 Get bored and go bug people who are awake.
6:07 Trip over the cat on my way to the kitchen.
6:13 Watch my parents continue a fight they had yesterday while I read A Feast for Crows.
6:20 I should be getting ready for school, but, c'mon, A Feast for Crows!
6:39 I should probably get ready for school now...
6:44 I just figured out how to do my homework due in fourth period!
6:45 Put sukiyaki and rice into a bento box Kero-chan gave me. I do not know why it is pink. I think Kero-chan has a cruel sense of humor.
6:51 HOMEWORK!
7:21 PRINT!
7:25 Time to go to school.
7:37 Step into history and receive 200 extra credit from my teacher, a rabid Seahawks fan. We also get treated to a free breakfast! I love free stuff!
7:45 I am now treated to a beautiful presentation of what classes to take next here.
8:21 What do you mean, IB Chem and IB Physics aren't weighted, but IB Bio is?
8:44 Stomp to Chemistry in a huff because they tell me that taking Precalc over the summer would be too hard for most people. I'm not "most people", and I want to take it! (Also in a huff because I can't skip the next Japanese class and the one I'm in is way too easy.)
8:47 Welp, let's finish that homework!
8:57 I wish my Chem teacher would tell us to skip a page in our lab books before he tells us to copy stuff off the board into our books.
9:23 Man, I hate peering through tiny slits and trying to see what's inside of stuff.
9:48 Run to break!
9:50 MORE HOMEWORK!
9:58 Run to P.E.!
10:07 Spend twenty minutes for the sub to take roll in the FREEZING COLD IN A T-SHIRT AND SHORTS!
10:27 Rub circulation into my hands and try to wrangle group members into working on a project.
10:51 I cannot fathom how someone cannot count to eight without messing up. I cannot.
11:03 RUN TO THE CLASS WHERE THE HOMEWORK IS DUE WHILE COLORING IT MADLY!
11:13 Told to look around the classroom and read other's projects. I laugh at all the typos.
11:50 Having finished laughing at typos, I wander around with my manly pink lunchbox and am corrected on how to use chopsticks by half the class.
12:13 Steal pretzels from friend's bottomless bag of pretzels at lunch and whine about how hungry I am.
12:51 I hate playing the "which pen has ink in it?" game, considering I have 12 identical pens in my pencil pouch.
1:13 I may have started a false rumor that #4 is passionately in love with Agent Alpacachan, but hey, he asked for it.
1:15 Sit in Japanse and merrily watch the shipping wars going on around me.
1:47 Wonder if perhaps I can arrange for a bolt of lightning to spontaneously strike my math teacher.
2:00 Try to figure out whether a certain lack of space on my worksheet should have a plus or minus in it.
2:03 Go around the class to see if anyone else can figure it.
2:04 Gleefully figure out I'm ahead of the entire class on this worksheet, especially a braggart who acts better than anyone else.
2:49 FINISH THE LAST PROBLEM IN ONE MINUTE! WHEE!
2:54 Name the space of air to the upper right of me "Precious" and hold a conversation with it while I walk home.
2:59 OH, GOSH, IT'S STALKER KID!
3:16 Eat a bowl of cereal while watching Pokemon videos.
3:27 I don't need to do homework today, so I should really finish a mega-hard Japanese translation for Servy which I'm already late on... He's going to boil me alive.
3:33 Nope, let's watch more videos!
4:24 Write this schedule out while attempting to sing "Ten-Faced" without knowing the words.
4:25 Start on Servy's translation.
(February 3, 2014 - 7:25 pm)
Shipping wars! *dies of laughter*
Yeah, Servy will probably murder you for not doing that translation.
(February 4, 2014 - 12:46 pm)
What's your arts elective? Or did you have it last semester?
(February 4, 2014 - 10:01 pm)
Block 1A/B: Math. The horror.
Block 2A: Science. It's a fun class, but my sixth grade science teacher was better.
Block 2B: Social Studies. My social studies teacher is awesome.
Block 3A/B: Language Arts. Yay.
Block 4A: Orchestra. Wonderful class full of wonderful people.
Block 4B: Gym. Ugh.
This schedule is probably confusing. We have math and language arts every day. Science and social studies are every other day. Same goes for electives. Orchestra and gym are every other day. Last semester Latin was my B-day elective. I miss Latin class. Orchestra is a year round elective and so it's always going to be my A-day elective.
(February 3, 2014 - 11:36 pm)
Ohh, I'm homeschooled so this'll be interesting:) This is a basic outline of a Tuesday or Thursday in which we have no friends coming over. It varies sooooo much, this is just an idea of my day.
7:14ish- Wake up, have cereal as a I read
7:30-8:00- Wait for my mom and brother to get. Read some more.
8:00- Story Of The World or Science.
8:45-Khan and check email (I have Khan up to do when I'm finished here)
9:15- Latin or spelling
9:30- Math perplexor maybe
10:24-LUNCH!!!!!!
11:00- Skate or bike (depending season)
12:00-Math
1:00-3:00- Any other studies my mom gives us.
There you go!!! Of course, this is a Tuesday or Thursday. If it was a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, it would be different , cause I have classes at the school. (I take art and music there)
(February 4, 2014 - 9:55 am)

(February 4, 2014 - 3:59 pm)
When I first saw the topic of this thread, I thought it was where we posted an outline of a novel every day... I was scared.
6:20 Alarm goes off. Turn off alarm.
6:45 Actually get out of bed. Proceed to get dressed and grab book for school.
6:55 Go downstairs, stand around in the kitchen gathering my brain and trying to do something useful.
7:00 Eat breakfast, put tea into travel mug.
7:07 Scramble into car.
7:08 Go back into house for hat and gloves because parent.
7:28 Arrive at school, rush into school and try to do things with tea in one hand.
7:33 Sit down, say hi to person whom we will call Pink.
7:35 English starts, have a cynical start to the morning and think in my head evil things.
8:20 Go to Home and Careers, proceed to get no work done because friends talk about weird things that are girly and annoying and they throw things at each other.
9:02 Go to Science and some sort of awesome thing happens, in spite of our incredibly disruptive class.
9:44 Go to Chorus or Orchestra. Today Chorus, in which teacher gave an unworthy tribute to Pete Seeger. (Pink does not understand. I will quote: "So he wasn't even famous until he died?" She does not know music.)
10:31 Say hi to Einstein, talk about some random thing while walking down the hall.
10:32 Arrive at Science Olympiad practice, and our team partially just goofs off even though our competition is on Saturday. *gulp* Yesterday we had a long discussion of middle names.
What will happen next? No one knows!
The rest of the day will be continued at a later date. Probably tomorrow.
(February 4, 2014 - 6:58 pm)
Continued from discussions of middle names etc.!
11:13 Go to Art and be happy, despite student teacher or go to Gym and be miserable either way.
11:55 Rush to Social Studies, and proceed to learn about something interesting.
12:37 Go to Math. Sit through Math.
1:19 Go to French, try to understand Impulse's discussions of superheroes.
2:01 Apparently, French ends and panic for the bus. This timing does not seem right, but that's what my brain says. I think it's actually around 2:26, and I made some mistake with all of these calculations. Whatever.
Henceforth read on the bus and get home. Proceeds with homework and Chatterboxing.
(February 5, 2014 - 11:09 am)
O MY GOSH YOU DO SCIENCE OLYMPIAD???!!!!
Which region? We just finished. Which events? FINALLY ANOTHER PERSON WHO DOES IT!!!!
(February 23, 2014 - 8:56 pm)
This is really fun, so have another useless outline.
6:05 Today the sophomores are taking the CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) in the morning so the rest of the school doesn't have to go to school until 11:00. My dad forgot and tried to get me up (even though I stayed up pretty late last night).
7:12 Get up and don't trip over the cat, for once.
7:15 Eat breakfast and wonder if A Feast for Crows will ever have a plot.
7:25 Mooch around the Evillious Chronicles Wiki while simultaneously having a magnificent quote-off with Red over email.
8:05 Look for the plot in Crows.
9:15 Crows will probably never have a plot, so let's go play Pokemon Conquest and conquer the world through a sadistic ninja. What could go wrong?
9:55 Glare at the stupidity of this Conquest campaign and go back to Crows.
10:20 Oh, yeah, school...
10:47 Arrive at school and listen to a classmate discussing smuggling and dealing art supplies. This isn't a suspicious conversation.
10:59 My history teacher gave said classmate a cupcake. She ate it, despite my admonitions that it was poisoned.
11:08 Applaud as classmate comes in late.
11:15 Watch depressing movie on WWI.
11:30 Watch another depressing movie on WWI.
12:05 Go off to lunch with two friends and complain about the weird schedule and the cold. Why is it cold? It's February, for Pete's sake! I shouldn't be cold in a T-shirt at noon!
12:13 Decide that friend should be the next Disney princess. The first male princess- it would prove that Disney isn't sexist!
12:18 Engage in massive argument about video games and friend's money spending habit with the same friend.
12:55 Engage in a different mass argument with different friend about which number, 4 or 42, is better. 42 is by far better.
1:16 Scar different friend for life by telling him Pokemon and the Easter Bunny aren't real.
1:17 Debate with debating friend about how stupid this debate is and how long we can deny the fact that we're in a stalemate.
1:50 Go into Japanese and find that #4 has magically vanished.
2:00 Witness an amusing game of Musical Chairs Behind Sensei's Back.
2:47 Realise that I don't have to go to math after this because of weird schedule.
2:53 Go to History Bowl practice (competition is on Saturday!) and reprimand #4 for still being alive.
3:37 The battle of Ghengis Khan took place in Yorktown, South Africa during the War of the Roses.
4:01 Picked up by Mother instead of walking home because she has the day off. My dad, on the other hand, will not pick me up when he has the day off, which annoys me to no end, especially because he'll complain about boredom once I get home.
4:23 Do homework.
4:58 Read a mildly amusing comic about Sonic, which is odd, considering I've never played a Sonic game in my life.
5:13 Realise that I could make a web-comic about gamer nerd high school guys, except I can't draw worth a bean.
5:18 I am 700 pages in, and A Feast for Crows still has no plot.
5:46 More sadistic ninja world-conquering.
And then there was dinner and stuff and it was boring.
(February 4, 2014 - 11:28 pm)
Typical Day:
6:30-6:50 Wake up and get ready. I am not a morning person, so I am usually very tired in the morning.
7:00-7:10 Come downstairs and eat breakfast.
7:11-7:17 Do miscellaneous things until my dad comes back downstairs and is ready to take me to the middle school and one of my little sisters to the elementary school, across the street, on his way to work (my little sister likes to get to school about 30 minutes early so that she can play outside).
7:20-7:25 Leave for school. Say goodbye to mom and other little sister (mom'll take her).
7:30-7:35 Arrive at school. If there is snow on the ground, everyone will be crammed into the cafeteria until the first bell rings, but if it is nice outside, we will be outside.
7:__? First bell rings. Everyone stampedes to their house (there is A and B house for sixth grade, and A and B house for seventh grade. The two sixth grade houses are on either sides of the school, but the seventh grade--where I am--is only seperated by a hallway. I am in A house).
7:43-7:50 First bell rings, and we are in "homeroom" for seven minutes. Basically you sit there with your first hour class and watch **TV (the stars are there for security purposes), which is just some seventh graders reading the announcements.
7:50-8:34 LinK class (yes, the 'K' is uppercase), which is like reading. Right now we are reading The Giver, which I think is a good book.
8:37-9:21 Math, where we usually get split up into groups--advanced, average, or 'needs improvement'. I go to the advanced class, which means I end up with the math teacher of the other house, Mr. Brandl. I really like him, because he is funny. Today he offered all of us a muffin before starting the lesson.
9:24-10:08 Third our. This is the wheel-class hour, where you switch off on having gym or studyhall. On A days I have studyhall, where I go to an advanced reading studyhall where we learn new reading terms each time. On B days I have gym. As today is a B-day, I go to gym. In gym, we are doing the 'Winter Olympics', where they try to mimic some of the events. It's actually quite fun, and my team is Norway.
10:11-10:56 English. I like the writing part more than the actual 'parts of speech' part. Today's class was fun. Yesterday we read a story and then were assigned characters of the story. We had to write a diary entry for that character. I was the ugly, smelly red sweater that no one wanted. Today we got to read our entries out loud to the class, and I put on a show, acting all mad and stuff. It was totally fun! I was really shouting.
10:56-11:31 Lunch. During lunch I usually go to Art Lunch Bunch, where you can go to the art room and do art. Last semester I had TWO art classes in a row, sixth AND seventh hour! But now I have two new electives. For the past two days at lunch I have just been staying in the English room with two other boys, though, because the teacher lets us stay and go on the computers, and we can finish our extra-credit (entering an essay contest--we submitted them today!).
11:34-12:19 Social studies. We are learning about the American Revolution, and the events that followed and such. Every so often there will be an advanced group that some people get to go to, which is really fun. Also, before each class the teacher gives us a riddle, and if you get it right you get a 'Mr. Monthie Bonus Buck'. At the end of the year, I'm going to cash mine in!
12:22-1:07 Tech Ed (elective). The end of the semester was just like a week ago, so we haven't really done much. We get really off topic because the class is mostly boys (only four girls). Yesterday they were talking about how to get free money (they get pretty off topic sometimes).
1:10-1:55 Computer Technology (elective). In this class, we are doing a lot of stuff with computers. Again, I don't really know much about it because the semester just started, but so far we have been coding (like javascript). We are also going to do digital movies and taking photos and stuff like that.
1:58-2:43 Science, the last class of the day. Now, our science class is VERY bad, and we ALWAYS get off subject, but it's really fun. Actually, we really don't get anything done in that class, because we are always talking. One class period we were talking about siamese twins and ligers, and another we were talking about how the teacher's relative hates nerf guns because she thinks they are the 'downfall of society'. How weird, right? Ohh, science class. It's a very lively bunch!
(February 5, 2014 - 5:38 pm)
It's six twenty-five, which will mean I'll have to get up. Usually in the middle of the climax of a dream for some reason. I'll eat whatever breakfast we have around, and then either go out in freezing weather to catch the bus, or get a ride from my dad, depending on how cold it is.
At school, before class, I'm in the library with my friends. Today our librarian told us to quiet down because we were like a circus, but I ignored him because I was merely drawing my comic and hadn't done anything wrong.
First block class is math. Immediatly, my brain goes to sleep. The person sitting next to me and I discuss how to fit a marshmallow into my comic who has every weapon ever associated with rainbows. Or we badly draw Pokemon.
Homebase. We read during Homebase, and accomplish nothing, but I get to read my book, so....
Second block class, I am finally awake. My friend and I will discuss the wild animal that they heard last night that seemed to go under my name, and I will reply in an apology from the city we live in. Then we do English. We write paragraphs. The bell rings.
Third block class A days (today was an A day). Health. A whole class about things I shouldn't do that I wasn't going to do in the first place. Today we'll learn about gateway drugs. DON'T DO DRUGS AND DON'T SMOKE. You all just learned what I learned today.
Lunch. Two of my friends are arguing, and it's irritating, but it's my favorite school lunch so I ignore them. By the end of lunch they've made up, but I bet they'll be mad again by Friday.
Fourth block A days. STUDY TIME! (Dances) Study time is the best. I had ALM last term, so I was glad to have it back. In our work time, my friend and I read my comic in silly voices and I try to save them from going insane because of Dr. Who.
The bus ride home. It's boring, I don't know anyone on my bus. I sit in seat number nine, as always.
Then I got home. Here I am now.
I'll probably stay up reading web comics, fall asleep, and the cycle will repeat again EXCEPT I'M GOING TO COLORADO. So that's not going to happen.
(February 5, 2014 - 6:00 pm)
I'll outline a basic day. Or rather today.
7:00 Pull my pillow over my head and trying to block out my mom's singing and yelling at us to get up.
7:30 Get up, and drag myself through getting dressed and finding clothes
7:45-50 (varies): Run through the freezing cold, half-done first floor, dodging beams and tools and other things lying all over the bare floor. Finally get to the Studio and stuff food down my throat, stuff lunch in a bag and run back upstairs.
8:00 If I finish getting ready in time, I'll read or check my email/NaNo
8:30 First class. Monday, free (I'll read or do whatever I was doing at 8 until 9), Tuesday German, Wednesday Lecture, Thursday Literature, Friday free
9:00 Run around like a headless chicken trying to find my backpack and pencils and trying to clean up my desk and fighting my sisters for the best chair, etc. Then math.
10:00 Math or English or just plain procasinating by writing on a scrap of paper or chatting with my sister
11:00 Do Rosetta Stone German.
11:30 Spelling or more math. And complaining about how empty my poor stomach is.
12:00 LUNCH!!!
12:30 Reading, going on NaNo, chatting with sisters
1:00 History or science
2:00 More History or science and procasinating
3:00 I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe. Anyway. Reading, computer time, do a craft or two, read some more, listen to music, do whatever I do.
5-6ish: Dinner.
7:00: Dog walking. Time to walk for forty minutes! Fun. Not.
8:00 If we feel like making snack, snack. More running around like headless chickens trying to get in the bathroom to get dressed for bed and brush teeth and whatnot. After that, Doctor Who or Merlin or You're Beautiful til ten
10:00 If it's Friday, more watching shows or running around, scaring siblings and being crazy. If it's any other weekday, bedyby
12-1ish Go to bed on Friday
(February 5, 2014 - 7:34 pm)
I'm homeschooled, but I still have a schedule. Here it is:
7:10a.m. wake up
7:15a.m. go on CB
7:45a.m. feed my cat
7:50a.m. have breakfast
8:10a.m. study
9:00a.m. Math lesson
10:00a.m. Composition class (yay!)
10:30a.m. Finish Math "homework"
11:10a.m. Spelling
11:20a.m. Vocabulary
11:30a.m. Read for my book report
12:00p.m. Lunch
12:30p.m. Science
1:00p.m. History
1:45-3:00p.m. Finish any lessons that are not fully finished
3:05p.m. Do social stuff (CB, read, play computer games, etc.)
5:10p.m. Eat dinner
6:00-7:00p.m. Watch TV
7:10-8:00p.m. Read
8:05p.m. Get ready for bed
8:30p.m.(ish) Get in bed
Every Monday at 7:30p.m. I have tap class, and every third Wednesday of every month I have my tap solo rehersal.
Please note that I don't always go to bed at 8:30p.m., as you can see by looking at the time I am posting this. ;P But in my defense, I don't have to get up real early, so I don't have to go to bed that early, although my parents think otherwise... ;P
Please note also that my schedule differs from day to day because my mom also teaches my sister, and we have no real schedule in which we do our subjects, so this schedule is just the times that I usually do my school classes. The other times are accurate though.
Now I must go fetch my glasses before I post anything else, since I can't even see what I've been typing! Hope it's OK! ;P
(February 5, 2014 - 10:59 pm)
