Horse racing. This

Horse racing. This will probably go to the bottom of the last page and stay there, but I'm posting it anyway. Who watched the 2008 Kentucky Derby on TV ? Poor Eight Belles. I think they are racing these horses too young. Their bones are not fully developed, and therefore they are more likely to break. There was no chance of Eight Belles being able to stand again, and there was no choice but to euthanize her. Barbaro, who broke his leg in the 2007 Preakness, might have been able to walk again, but these horses are made to run, and miserable if they can't. Barbaro would have never been able to run again. Eventually they euthanized him, and they should have done it much sooner. I mean, what fun is life if you can't do what you like most?

Don't be so sure.  PETA is a reliable source.  They don't get their facts wrong.  And anyway, no one cares if the horses win or not.  They're starved, beaten, and turned into dog food, as far as I know.
