I ran away
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
I ran away
I ran away again. I'll spare you guys the details. So yeah. I'm still bad and am still overreacting to small things. Whatevs. Anyway, a lone HypQuest (why is no one else making some?):
What would you do if a dragon and a Sacred Flaming Gorilla (see http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/125337 ) were having a contest in your living room to see who could make the biggest flames, and were lighting a lot of your things on fire in the process?
Call the fire department and help evacuate my family before the house burned down. Actually, do those two tasks in the opposite order, using a neighbor's phone to get the fire department.

Goodness, just be careful. Use the time to breathe and clear your head.
I would become absolutely livid, because everything I own has a very important and dear value to me. If it were to be destroyed like that, I might very well fall apart. So I would grab my broom, and beat the livin' daylights outa them. Then grab a fire extinguisher, spray the fire, them, then club 'em upside the head with the fire extinguisher. Yeah, I would be mad.

To answer the HypQuest: get out of the house. Call the fire department. Duh.
And to respond to the post as a whole: Joe, I think you might have Borderline Personality Disorder (according to NIMH anyway). You need to talk to a therapist or a counselor or SOMETHING. Just...get help, okay? I don't want you to end up hurting yourself. I'm really tempted to give you some of the hotline numbers but I don't know how the admins will react to that, so...yeah.

And now I'm going to top this. TOP TOP TOP TOP TOP

If you feel it was needed, carry on, but I feel like this could make it worse.
Save a few precious things and get the heck out of there. I'd of course call the fire department.

Joe, if you're really upset and unhappy, you could try talking to counselors. It's not good to be unhappy all the time, and if they can help you, then that's good. Of course, that wouldn't really work for me, now would it? *laugh* If you and your parents are arguing, you should try to sit down and talk with them and try to solve your problems. If you have a friend you can trust, you could try talking with them, too, to make yourself feel better.
And in response to your HypQuest, I would join in, win, and then get yelled at by my mother for blowing up her house.

I would take the box of flour and dump it all over them both, and then tell them to get out, and take their fight into the neighbor's house.
@Joe: What's up with your website? Is it down? And are you going to post more parts of your story?
(January 22, 2014 - 3:32 pm)
Yeah, I don't know what my parents did, but it's not helping... they must've gotten my password, changed it, and then taken everything down. Once I'm on the net again, they might undo it. Maybe.
Here's the story. I was at the library to find books about JK Rowling. But because I'm not allowed to use internet right now and they have computers there, my mom was following me around while I was up to this. I just walked off from her, thrice. . . . And then I sprinted out the door and ran away.
Pretty good, huh? I should be the next Doctor. Except that a) I'd need to go to Britain, and b) I'm in a huge load of trouble now. No BBC in their right mind would hire a 14-year-old American boy with records like mine.
So... probably the end of my filmmaking career. Before it even starts. Shucks. Loser I am. I really should have just stayed with mom, or said, "Can you just follow me from a distance?" Or something, but now here I am. At the last existing major physically existing bookstore. B&N.

Admin, what's wrong with the stuff you deleted from this post? I was right you know, the laws of physics did say so!
We're avoiding repetition and too many details away from the main foci of the Chatterbox. If you'd like further explanation, please email cricket@cricketmagkids.com.

Hmm. Is running away fun? Honestly I've always wanted to but then I'd get in major trouble. And I would have to go to Starbucks for wifi to go on cricketmag.
