In school I'm

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

In school I'm

In school I'm basically failing writing because I don't write "school style". I write fiction novellas! It doesn't matter how many times I've been published in magazines, the dozens of writing contests I've won, the perfect score I got on long comp, that I spend all of my spare time reading and writing. No, it doesn't. And I'm going to fail writing because I can't write stupid, idiodic, redundant essays. I love school. I love learning. But I HATE FIFTH GRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate writing non-fiction pieces too, if that's what you're implying, it's just not fun! And don't worry, it will get easier if you pay attention and know your stuff. Last time I had the long comp, I got a high score but not the highest for it not being realistic. I have to do it again this year and hope that it can be a fiction piece!

Don't worry I find realistic writing hard too, I think all creative people must have this problem! It does get easier to write though because they have you do it in sixth gade too(at least at my school I don't know about other school's teaching programs)

It's not realistic writing. It is the stupid "Traits of Writing" program!
