Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Dreams

Dreams

Everyone has dreams once in a while. They can be daydreams or dreams while you sleep. Here are some questions about dreams.

1. What do you often daydream about?

2. Do you remember a dream that seemed so real?

3. Have you ever had a really scary nightmare?

4. If you remember, have you had a dream that you would like to have again, since it was so good?

5. Has there ever been a dream that has come true for you?

If you have any more questions about daydreams and dreams, you can add on! I'll post my answers later. Thank you! :)

1. Impossible scenarios (i.e. meeting John Green)

2. The dream I had where I had an 18-year old brother

3. Yes. The dream I had a few nights ago where I was trapped in a pizza kitchen with some (perfectly nice) kids from my school.

4. I had a dream once and I woke up in the middle of it. The dream was mildly terrifying, but I'd like to find out what the Slitheen did to the family that lived in that house.

5. I very rarely have mundane dreams but when I have mundane dreams they usually come true.

1. I tend to daydream about stuff I need to do. That's terribly boring, isn't it? Sometimes I daydream about being normal or contemplate weird ideas.

2. I've had some really realistic weird dreams in the past. Once, I had a dream and a day that were identical to each other except for one detail- in one, I lost a poster, in the other, I didn't lose it. I don't have the poster, so I assume the one where I lost it was reality, but I'm not entirely sure.

3. I've had a lot of scary nightmares. I can recall one when I was five that had to do with freezing in the snow, being run over by a herd of cows, and being hit by monster trucks out of control. I can also remember having a nightmare so horrifying I dubbed it "The Spongebob Dream" and I now can't remember a single bit of it, which is a shame. I've had lots of running from things dreams, being chased by everything from the government to wolf people to Captain Hook. I've been torn apart by wolves, drowned but not allowed to die, and eaten by dolls. The Puppet Master likes nightmares a lot, so I tend to have a lot of them. I usually have two to three torture dreams a night, which aren't so much terrifying as painful.

4. I've been able to return to a lot of dream worlds, but I've had some really cool action dreams I'd like to finish.

5. I've had quite a few prophetic dreams, of varying degrees of weirdness.

Regarding your answer to number 2, that's terrible. That's really terrible. (stupid inadequate words)

1. Stuff I want to happen, like marrying a member of 1D and then working for Disney.

2. This hasn't happened lately because I'm normally aware in my dreams.  It must have happened before, though I don't remember it.

3. When I was little, I used to have a recurring nightmare about a haunted dance studio.  I twisted it the last time I had it so it was a prank and I haven't had it since.

4. Most of my Disney World dreams:)

5. No, but one time I could have sworn I had a psychic connection with my friend through a dream.  I asked her a question I had wanted to know in real life because I saw her in the dream and was like "Wait, I meant to ask her in real life.., I should tell her now."  And I haven't seen her since then so I don't know if I'm right or not.  I would FB message her about it, but that's kind of a creepy message to get.

1. That I'm dying. Usually that either the government, someone, or something is trying to kill me. But I always die, often running for my life. It's creepy.

2. Yes, the other night, I dreamt I was being murdered (again). Though this time was different. Usually, it's some unrealistic way. But this time, it was completely realistic. I was terrified, and lay on the ground screaming and crying. Just before I died, I woke up, hugging myself and crying for real.

3. Any dream where I'm being stalked, or the one above ^.

4. One where I went to Camp Half-Blood! That was cool! (My dreams say way too much about me.)

5. Uh, I can't list any specifically, but I'm always dreaming about the future, and then it happens, which freaks me out a lot.

1. What do you often daydream about?
My cousins and Chatterbox. And my friends at the home-school co-op we go to. Or totally impossible things.

2. Do you remember a dream that seemed so real?
One, about my cousins. I keep replaying it over and over and over. the first part is ridiculous, and I've almost forgotten it. But the last part, well, I kind of daydreamed the end, but it so real to me.

3. Have you ever had a really scary nightmare?
Mmm, probably, but I don't remember anything that I wasn't soothed over by the next week.

4. If you remember, have you had a dream that you would like to have again, since it was so good?
I can't remember. Really, I can't.

5. Has there ever been a dream that has come true for you?
Not really, except for a few daydreams. Which are mostly dreams of what I wish will happen.

1. I dream about exciting things that have happened before or are going to happen to me later. I like to relive the past sometimes and I like to plan what I'll do in the future. I also daydream myself in the school play, singing and dancing. There are some other things I daydream about that I'd rather not say (since they are embarrassing and funny).

2. Yes. My younger brother who's six used to be a baby a long time ago. I was only five at the time so I can't remember that time. I have dreams when I have a new baby brother at my age now. It feels so real since I actually can feel the baby and smell the baby (sometimes the smell of babies can be sweet).

3. Yes. You know the shows about the Twilight Zone (the original ones from the 1960's)? There was this one night, a few nights ago, where I dreamt that I was in the Twilight Zone. It was like a little twist from the mannequin episode. It felt soooo real.

4. There are a lot of dreams I'd like to have again. Can't list them all as there are so many!

5. Not yet, but I'm hoping my daydreams about being in the school play will come true. I'm auditioning next week! :)

1. Meeting one of my characters in real life. Marrying a dashing, Byronic poet (though I've heard they're dangerous to know). Winning the Newbery Award. Seeing my story published in Cicada Magazine.

2. Lots of my dreams, if I can remember them later, feel very real. Mostly they're nightmares, though, which is not pleasent.

3. I sometimes have recurring dreams of people breaking in my house. Not stealing anything, just breaking in, but I was terrified. I also once had a dream when I was cornered in my bedroom by an orc with a cross bow. That might have been one of the scariest I can remember at the moment. Oh, and being bitten by spiders. I unfortunately have a lot of those.

4. Yeeesss...okay this is embarressing. It was a really damsel-in-distress dream. I was traveling with a friend in a carriage, and we had stopped to rest the horses, when this bandit rode up and tried to kidnap us. We almost escaped, but then we reached the edge of this huge ravine and I lost my head crying, "-------, save me, save me!" (I'm not putting the name. He was supposed to be an escort to us maidens as we travelled). The next thing I knew, I woke up in a sunlit room and kissed the escort, who had been sitting beside me. I wouldn't mind having that dream again!!!

5. I once had a dream that I passed my skating test level. I did, and the results were given to me on a yellow sheet of paper, same as in the dream. Usually the results are just on white paper, so that was kind of creepy.
