Hi. My friend
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Hi. My friend
Hi. My friend was talking about this website. She said there is someone named Maggie here who has depression. And a Ruby? Could I talk to you?

Hi. I'm Maggie. The fact that I'm very very depressed scares people away from me sometimes. What's your friend's name?

Hi. So, I was just kinda wondering what your depression is like. Cause I have some really bad depression and need to talk to someone who understands me.
Lydia, you can read some of Maggie's comments here: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/124545
and on some other threads. We hope they help you.

I've had a pretty awful experience with therapists. TNÖ told me that not all therapists are terrible though.

Hiya. What do you want to talk about?

Well, Sarah a.k.a. S.E. said that you are kind of helpful. So I was kinda hoping to talk about depression. I was born with slight depression, and it just keeps getting worse. I'm not sure what to do.

Sure. I'd love to help you with anything. I don't really know what to do for big general problems (sorry, I have schizophrenia, not depression), but I'm happy to offer any advice I have on smaller problems. Have you talked with your parents about your depression?

I'm not in a particularly good place myself, so I may not be able to help much, but I promise I'll try.

Sarah. And anyways, she helps me a lot, and she's on here, she's a really happy person, but I just want to know your opinion on therapists. Mine keeps saying I want attention and I want nothing but to be an attention freak. It's not fair.

Therapists? I haven't seen one of those guys in... a really long time. I think the last time was five years ago, when my mom thought I might have autism. At least, I think that's what she brought me in for. Ehh. I think counselors and therapists are a little inane. Whenever I see them, they always ask me about school and friends and petty stuff like that. I try to stay away from them for the most part. They kind of scare me because I always think they're going to tell my parents things that they don't know about me, and then I'll be put on meds. I don't really put much faith into them.
