Rant Restaurant!
Hello! Care to come in? Would you like a table?
Yes? A little, medium, or large Rantstaurant table?
Ok, maybe I'd better explain what we do here. All we are is a place to go when something's on your mind that really BUGS you.
The only requirement is that you say what size Rantstaurant table you want, the table referring to the length rant. And, to make it easier for the admins, PLEASE rant on subjects they allow in order to save them lots of editing.
Thank You, and Welcome to The Rantstaurant.
~Violet~
P.S. I'll be adding menus soon! Plus I'll give you a receipt after you rant. Don't worry ;) it's free.
P.P.S SpamBox says 'ttya' thank ya!

I'm pretty sure the only reason they don't like you and Ruby is because you're internet humans who they have never met. Either that, or it's because you and Ruby are schizophrenic. I'm pretty sure it's the schizophrenia, because my parents haven't said anything similar to what they said about Ruby of anyone else on the CB. I'm really sorry. I've told them not to say things like that because I don't like it, but then I start crying because they don't stop and then it makes me mad and then they yell at me to stop crying and then I cry harder and then they that I'm way too dependent on internet humans. Apparently even though it's winter break, I was supposed to magically contact Brikena through telepathy or something (I don't have my cellphone right now) instead of spending a lot of time on the internet.

Okay, so I'm homeschooled and I love it- except for one thing: I always get questions about which type of people are smarter, home-schoolers or regular school kids. Hey, it doesn't matter where you go to school, what matters is the effort you put into what you got. It drives me nuts that people think homeschoolers are chicken-raising nerds (okay, I'm a nerd, but still).
(January 1, 2014 - 1:29 pm)
@ Abigail: Ugh! *groans and face desks* I HATE that kind of stuff! I'm homeschooled too. People also often assume we're antisocial (okay, I am, but I was already that way before I started homeschooling). And really, most homeschoolers I know are very social! And popular (in a good way). We're not raised in closets! Or raise chickens. There are people who go to school who raise chickens as well. I know people who are smart and go to school, and who are smart and homeschool. Neither is better, it just depends on the person. I do better homeschooling, there are people who prefer school. NEITHER IS SUPERIOR. And really, people who judge homeschoolers like that have no right because they are clearly uneducated (ha, go figure) on homeschoolers, and are going off just what they assume.

@ Blonde Heroines Rule
I totally get the whole anti-social thing--my mom actually has me take two classes at the school so I don't get too out-there. This is my second year with the same class, and the kids are pretty nice to me, even when I go on weird rants they don't understand--well one or two understand, but the one I last year talked about alternate universes to is a boy and we don't talk much because people were saying . . . well, you know, the whole boy/girl thing. We still talk, but I soooo miss that!!
Anyways, when I first started there, I got soooo many questions--it drove me NUTS!! Now, its great, I'm good friends with some of the girls and such.
I also get the whole popular thing! I have one really close friend who has, like, 30 homeschool friends!

A girl I sit next to in class is really popular and wears a lot of makeup. She is always telling me that I would look prettier with makeup and that it is weird that I don't wear any. But none of my friends wear any and my mom won't even let me, plus I don't want to, but should I?
(January 2, 2014 - 5:06 pm)
You shouldn't have to do anything you don't want to. I personally think girls look prettier without makeup and I know there's lots of other people who think that. Don't worry if you don't think you're the prettiest, personality counts way more than outward appearance.
(January 2, 2014 - 5:51 pm)
Well said, Red. Ignore her, Lola. It's perfectly ridiculous for girls to wear so much makeup. Personally, I don't see the reason of wearing a whole lot ever, no matter the age. Looks don't define a person. There's far too much pressure on girls nowadays. They should feel confident as they are. Don't worry about what she says, Lola. I know you're pretty just how you are.

Thanks, guys. I needed that encouragement. Plus the girl next to me as I mentioned before, she wears so much makeup that she actually looks like a clown, no offense to her because she wasn't trying to make me feel bad.

The same day that my parents said the thing about Ruby (the first time), they were attacking me for posting about my problems on the CB. "Haven't the Admins told you to, like, chill out or something?" It was only my mom. She claims that she understands what I'm going through, but she doesn't. Yeah, she's got depression too, but she wasn't born with it. Hers was caused by bullying, whereas I was born with mild depression and it was then worsened by bullying. Because I was born with it, I can't imagine the logistics of getting better.

Nothing to rant about today, but I would like to reply to some of the other's.
@BHR, I like the look of makeup. Yeah, I do. But ONLY if you do it correctly. Which means not using too much and putting it on correctly. My older sister sometimes wears eyeliner and eye shadow when she goes out with her friends and I do like the look of it. But that's because she does it well. I can't say I won't wear makeup when I'm older (I'll learn how to do it nicely first), but I do agree, girls need to understand: makeup and hair spray and whatnot doesn't automatically make you pretty. You are pretty, naturally, whoever you are, and if you don't think so, makeup ain't gonna make it happen. I have acne, big time, but I don't feel the need to cover it up. If someone doesn't like the way I look, that's their problem. I'm fine with all my features.
Maybe that was a rant . . .

Everybody I know says they think I wear makeup because I couldn't be so pretty without it. 1) I'm not pretty and 2) I don't wear makeup and 3) I AM ACTUALLY UGLY. Which is fine with me. I just don't dress up. Other than that, I don't really care about how I look.

I can't think of any more differences between Josh Waitskin and Bobby Fischer. I'm going to have to rewrite a paragraph I wrote in pen.

Let's get this straight. I don't like humans. I'm not fond of you. I cannot stand humans for more than a couple of hours. If the whole human race vanished off the face of the planet, I would not care hardly at all.
My sister has been home for nearly three weeks straight and I am past the end of my tether. I passed it weeks ago. She hasn't done much, really. It's her sheer presence that sends me up the wall. When humans are around, I can't do my magic without attracting unwanted attention and I can't really let the personality splits out of my head unless they have a specific mission. I'm not able to do the only thing that's truly important to me and I can't have any stress relief when any one is around. Better yet, she plays really loud music all day, sings along poorly, complains and whines about having nothing to do, and gets into loud arguments with my parents.
Consider it like this. You have a super important project that will kill you if you don't pay attention to it, and you're not allowed to work on it for a month. A person keeps making really distracting whiny noises in your ear as you go around trying to do other, lesser important things. You are forbidden to show negative emotions, you have to smile the entire time. You are not allowed to have any free time or stress relief. In addition, you have four other people cooped up in a room with you while it's lovely and beautiful outside, but you're not allowed to go outside. Two of the people are attempting to kill each other, and one other hasn't eaten since September and hasn't had a chance to do her favorite activity since mid November and is complaining and whining loudly.
And some kid had the chutzpah to tell me off serverely for writing the ski lodge murder mystery and making fun of death and then insulted my writing without having read anything I've written.
Day 8 will come out later today. I'm not sure when. I'm going to steam for a little while in my room with a pillow over my mouth so no one can hear any noises I make.
(January 8, 2014 - 6:30 pm)
Wow. That's really bad. I'm sorry for you. Also, you're a really good writer. ...what's the thing that's really important to you?

Okay. So some of my friends from 6th grade are kind of abandoning me. Originally it was Jordyn and Tiara, but now it's Abigail and Tiara. It's not like they had some kind of pact or something. It's just that toward the beginning of the year, I was closer to Abigail than I was to Jordyn, and Jordyn was the one who was uncomfortable around me. Now Abigail is the one who's really uncomfortable around me. She was basically blatantly ignoring me today when we were waiting to get picked up from school. Like, I was trying to talk to her, and she could hear me, I know she could, but she was tuning me out. And then my friend Addie walked up and she was jabbering on about My Chemical Romance, which is a band that I really like, and she was talking to Abigail about it even though Abigail hasn't even heard any of their music, and so I said to Addie, "Oh my gosh I really like My Chemical Romance!" but she wasn't listening to me or she just didn't want to talk to me or something. But whatever it was, it made me mad. Is it because I don't look like the kind of person who would listen to MCR? GAHHHH!

rant topic: my parents
1) they don't respect my privacy, 2) they don't respect my opinion, and 3) they treat me differently than they treat my siblings.
They claim that they respect my opinion, but they don't actually believe I have a valid opinion.
