Ask Chatterboxers Thread
Do you have anything you wish you knew about other Chatterboxers? Post your questions here! Please ask your questions so that anyone can answer them, do not address them to one specific person. This is like the "Ask Admins" threads, except these questions are for YOU to answer!
This thread will help us to get to know each other a little bit. It's also a great opportunity to share some things about yourself that other Chatterboxers may not know. This is a good way to break the ice if you're new here, too; just ask Chatterboxers away!
Have fun!

Everinne's Q: Pros are the bending of time, and the free time! Also, I'm my own teacher for almost all of seventh grade, so I can study French on Duolingo for a while without getting into trouble.
Cons are the stretching of time. Easily, we can schedual dentist appointments, then just get back to school. Also, we have school when other kids have snow days or other vacations. Sometimes we have vacations, and Fridays we go to a fun co-op, but mostly, we don't have vacation.
To Nina's Qs
Can't decide. Alcott books and Percy Jackson are near the very top.
Fantasy, historical fiction, and classics, if that counts as a genre

Answers to Nina's Q's:
1. The Lord of the Rings, The Hero and the Crown and The Tale of Despereaux. I also quite like the novel I'm writing, if it's not arrogant to say so.
2. Fantasy and historical fiction. Classics too, if that counts. (Just realized that's almost exactly what True said—and I swear I did not even see her post until I typed this!)
3. J.R.R. Tolkein. If he is a demigod and not an actual author, however, I'll go with Kate Dicamillo. Her writing is so fresh and humorous, and she weaves a very simple but captivating story.

What's everyone's favorite holiday and why?
(December 13, 2013 - 6:06 pm)
@Nina:
1. I don't know. There are a lot of them.
2. Historical fiction and adventure.
3. Hmm... I like Peg Kehret.
And now for my question: Is anyone here not homeschooled (besides me, I mean)?
Oh, yes, we have many Chatterboxers who attend public and other schools.

I used to go to a private school, but it only went up to 8th grade. Now, I go to a public school.

@ Nina: Hmm, one of my favorite holidays I think is Halloween, because I get to dress up, get free candy, and have a blast! Plus, it's the start of the fall season, so we start seeing fall leaves, pumpkins, cinnamon scented things, and overall, a warm feeling!
My other favorites are Thanksgiving (because I have so much to thank God for), and Christmas (because it's a time for celebrating the birth of Christ).
