DEAR MAGGIE,
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
DEAR MAGGIE,
DEAR MAGGIE,
I used to be depressed. Everything was cold, empty, and pointless. But then I found a great hobby. Theater. And I started looking at things and realized evertything has a point. My guidance counselor stuck, and I kind of liked depression. The truth was, I am a writing, theater-loving, geek that's socially awkward. But hey, nobody's perfect.
With support,
Julia

Therapists as a whole don't appeal to me. They're too....nice, and I don't like people who are really really nice, because I just don't believe they're sincere. Considering the fact that I've had two very dangerous very real very serious episodes within the past WEEK, I'm a lost cause. No one cares about me. (Actually they do. I just don't believe them.)

That's not good to assume people that are nice aren't legit. I happen to be Christian and we teach love. And never to speak evil of anyone.

In my personal experience nice people are fake. Don't take it personally.

Correction: three episodes within the last week. My mom was yelling at me nonstop last night, and triggered another episode

Four now

What are the episodes like?

Not....hurting myself. Different.

Nice is still better than mean. Mean people can still be insincere, and you feel bad after talking to them. At least nice people make you feel all right, even if superficially.

No. I mean people who are just nice and not sarcastic. I can't deal with them.
