Is anyone out
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Is anyone out
Is anyone out there socially awkward? I am so much of a social outcast, I'm not going to bother you with the details. I barely get to see my friends, and I am a geek/nerd (I say it loud and proud). The only place I can really be myself is theater, where you are expected to have character. Except, there are so many things I want to say to people but I never want to say. Like ideas, worries, and thoughts. But, I don't have anyone to talk to. I am Gretl in The Sound of Music, and in the entire 4-hour show, she only has ten lines!

Oh I am, painfully so. On here, and with my one friend, are the only times I can be natural. The rest of the time, I come across really weird when I talk to people. I either seem shallow, immature, or not very intelligent. Everything I say comes out wrong, so hardly anyone ever wants to talk to me. I am a geek/nerd too (always be proud of it!), and I hardly know anyone who shares the same interests.
I've never been in theater, so I wouldn't really know. But being Gretl still sounds cool, despite the lack of lines. Gretl was my favorite of all the Von Trapps! I'm sure you'll do great, and maybe will get a bigger role in the next performance. Give it all you've got, and hopefully your teacher will see how much potential you have! But be sure to just have fun, and not worry about how big your role is. I commend you greatly for having the guts to get up there in the first place.

Yeah sometimes people get upset because I just talk about my goat because I really love him and they get bored and annoyed. I'm also a bit of a nerd and the history of chess seems to only fascinate me. Oops so much for not getting a weird/bored look from that person today...
