I am going

I am going to my cousins' condo (they have another house, this one is their beach house) and I don't really like the furniture that they picked out.  They told me that when I come down, they want me to tell them what I think about their new furniture.

Eekkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do I do?  I want to tell them I it, but  i dont want to lie.

 

My brain is a mess with this problem.

 

Please, please. please, please help!!!

Since it's just inanimate furniture and they asked you, I suggest you be honest but considerate. Say something like: It's very fashionable, but not really my style. Or, it looks very comfortable. Or I like the color. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

You have to be honest and considerate with your answers, but you don't have to lie about how you feel. You can say, "I like it, but it's not really for me" or "It's not my style, but it looks great in your condo" or something along those lines. Your cousins are asking for your opinion, which means asking how YOU feel. They look forward in hearing what you have to say. Good luck!
