Happy Thanksgiving to you too!! Though I'm no sure if I'll have a very happy Thanksgiving, since we don't exactly have an oven or a stove (ours is just a hot plate). And we eat in a tiny room at the back of our house. I can just hope the house'll be done by then! 

I'm thankful for being back home, even if it is a only partly finished home. I'm thankful that my family is all here and that we're all alright. I'm thankful for my life and my wonderful friends. And the all the people at NaNo! XD

Corina, I wouldn't be surprised if some churches or other groups in your area prepared group Thanksgiving dinners for people displaced by Sandy and for any others who wish to come. Keep your eyes out for news of such a dinner. But you're very right that the best part is having your family all safe and together.
