Chatterbox: Down to Earth

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Yes, this is possibly my favorite holiday, and mine was a blast! I was dressed as a steampunk Annabeth (from PJO). Theo, thank you for our steampunk talks which gave me the idea!

I made my own goggles, and fingerless gloves. Then I wore a petticoat skirt under my regular skirt, with lace up boots and a gear key necklace with my Camp Half-Blood tshirt, Annabeth knife, her necklace, and navy blue Yankees cap! Though, of course, no one guessed me. The one time someone asked me, she looked completely lost when I told her. 

But it was still a blast! A friend and I would go up to random houses, and after receiving candy, we would ask the year. If they said 2013, we'd shout: "WE DID IT!" And run away yelling thank you! It was HILARIOUS! Especially the expression some people had when we asked! They didn't get it at all!

Of course, some people caught on, and would give a random year, like 1981, or 1876. Ironically, any other kids or teenagers we'd ask would just look at us really weird, and walk quickly away. I laughed so hard at them!

So, what did everyone else do or dress as for Halloween? If you went Trick-or-Treating, how much candy did you get? I did VERY well this year! Got an entire boatload!

Well, I'm off to torture more innocent little children and steal their candy! (Just kidding;) And yeah, I'm jacked up on sugar and candy, and I've only had three pieces. My family's in trouble.
