ANYONE???

Ummm . . . I've been vegan for about five years now.  My story isn't exactly eventful--one day, at supper (over beef stew, I might add), my Mom said she had been thinking about going veggie for quite a while and that we should maybe challenge ourselves to go vegan, for health reasons.  I shrugged--I didn't care especially--and we became vegan overnight.  It was a bit hard at first: I missed sweets and my Dad would sometimes have "midnight snacks" of chocolate cookies: but eventually we got used to it and now it's . . . well, not easy, but not as hard as it used to be.  Now I would never dream of touching meat again (no offense!).  I wonder what Paige's story is . . .? :):):)

I started to really care a lot about animals at some point or another. I realized I didn't see why animals should have to die jst so we can eat them, when we don't even have to. It feels like they're dying for no reason. So I thought about it for about a month, praying about it and having talks with my family (even though they all eat meat). In the end I decided I should give up meat. I am allergic to dairy and eggs, so that immediately qualifies me as a vegan. I'd always hated my allergies before, but now, I wouldn't even want to touch dairy or eggs, because of factory farms. Well, that's basically my story, since I'm sure you're not interested in how hard it was to stay vegan, enduring all the ridicule I recieved from my schoolmates. It would sound like whining, anyway.
