MP3 Game.
Because I'm bored and I feel like writing one.
Get your MP3 player, computer, or any other music-playing device. Put your music on shuffle. The order the songs come up is the answer to the following questions:

2. Are you alive?
3. Is this the real life?
4. Why are we here?
5. What item is right next to you?
6. What was the last thing you ate?
7. Where do you live?
8. What song will play at your funeral?

@TNÖ
Who are you? 24601!
(July 27, 2013 - 7:20 pm)
No no, you wrote it wrong. It's 2! 4! 6! 0! 11111111111111!
(July 28, 2013 - 5:08 pm)
Ah, yes, thank you. Apparently if you tell the person at Starbucks to write that on your cup, some of the baristas will call Jean Val Jean.
(July 28, 2013 - 5:58 pm)
Ha, ha, ha! I see what you did there, Melody. :)
Google "les mis birthday cards." "Hoping your birthday is 2460FUN! Look down, look down, at the present I got for you..."
(July 28, 2013 - 7:19 pm)
Aaaaand my first thought is "but that doesn't work, it has two extra syllables! you can't do that!"

(July 29, 2013 - 12:34 pm)
1. Who are you? "F'in Carv Ti (The Love of Aragorn)" by the London Studio Orchestra. So... I'm Arwen, I guess?
2. Are you alive? "The Bottom Line (Reprise) from Newsies (the musical). So... Yes, and I'm about to ruin you!
3. Is this the real life? The... overture to Wonderland (the musical). I guess that's ambiguous; it's not actually clear whether Wonderland is an actual parallel universe or All Just a Dream.
4. Why are we here? "The World Will Know" from Newsies. So... for political activism?
5. What item is right next to you? "On the Right Track" from this year's revival of Pippin. Hopefully, that means I'm on a train and not about to get hit with one.
6. What was the last thing you ate? "I'd Be Delighted" from Little Women. I... can't even think of a connection there; you don't eat dancing.
7. Where do you live? "Children and Art" from Sunday in the Park with George. I suppose I live on the Island of La Grande Jatte, then. Cool!
8. What song will play at your funeral? "Can't We Just Stop and Talk Awhile?" by Lea Salonga. Now, that will be ironic.
9. What will trigger the end of the world? "Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Miserables in concert at the Royal Hall (so... a well-meant revolution is going to destroy us all, apparently).
10. What are you wearing? "My Strongest Suit (Reprise)" from Aida--whoa, that could be an actual (evasive) answer, even though it doesn't suit me at all!
Round 2!
1. Who are you? "Wooden Indian" by John Denver. Well, would you look at that, another one that works!
2. Are you alive? "Scene: India" from The Secret Garden musical (so yes, but everyone's surprised).
3. Is this the real life? "No Life" from Sunday in the Park with George (well, that answers that question)!
4. Why are we here? "Do You Hear the People Sing" again, this time from Broadway.... so we're here to be free and live out our lives however we want!
5. What item is right next to you? "I Know Things Now" from Into the Woods. I'm not going to try to find meaning in this...
6. What was the last thing you ate? "Crime Dramas Suck" by Hank Green.
7. Where do you live? "If I Only Had the Nerve/We're Off to See the Wizard" from The Wizard of Oz (the stage musical).
8. What song will play at your funeral? "Girls of the Night" from Jekyll and Hyde (the musical). Ha.
9. What will trigger the end of the world? "Opened Up" by the Tiny.
10. What are you wearing? Well, episode 8 of Welcome to Night Vale ("The Lights in Radon Canyon") just came on, but that's a podcast, so I suppose I'll skip that, and... "No Relief in Waking" by District Tribute.
(July 27, 2013 - 1:42 pm)
I'll turn on the Chrono Trigger soundtrack and put it on shuffle. Most of the tracks have pretty odd names, so this should be good.
1. What are you? A Shot of Crisis. What? Okay, apparentally, I'm PURE ADRENALINE! WHEEE! I need to make that my catchphrase. "You are up against the Shot of Crisis! Prepare to die!"
2. Are you alive? Burn! Bobonga! Burn! (Please don't ask what a Bobonga is. I don't have the faintest idea.) No, I'm burning, supposedly.
3. Is this the real life? Underground Sewer. Oh great Chrono Trigger oracle, is this the real life? Undergouuuunnnnnddddd Seeeewwwweeerrrrr. The oracle speaks! Oh praise the oracle who doesn't make any sense! We are all trapped in underground sewers where computers rule our brains Matrix style.
4. Why are we here? Fanfare 1~Lucca's Theme. You know what I have to say to that? Underground Sewer. No, I get it. Lucca is an inventor who loves making robots. Therefore, we are all highly powerful robots made by Lucca 1013 years ago (she lived in 1000 A.D. And she built robots. Logic.) and we are actually living in an underground sewer (Because the world ended in 1999. Lucca and co. were supposed to stop the world ending, but they failed, and now we live in sewers to be safe from Lavos, the giant parasite that ended the world). Lucca (She obviously figured out to make herself live forever. She's quite good at magic, too.) controls all our minds Matrix style. Oh snap. Everything makes sense now!
5. What item is right next to you? The Day the World Revived. That's awesome. I have a day with a really cool theme song sittign next to me.
6. What was the last thing you ate? Rhythm of the Wind, Sky, and Earth. We robots can eat rthyms in this new, awesome, underground sewer world. Isn't that awesome? Nom nom nom on the song.
7. Where do you live? Lavos' Theme. Oh noooooo! Lavos has infiltrated the sewers and ate all of us robots! We must fight back! Come, robotic lemming army! Let's fight back in the name of all that is good, like sewers and Lucca! (This is entirely random, but I just realized that the song "Mass Rapture" would fit here perfectly. All of us robots worship Lucca, the creator of robotkind.) Go, lemmings! Open the gates to oblivion! Lemmings: Only Lavos can use that attack! How do you expect us to?
8. What song will play at your funeral? (Sadly, my last stand against Lavos failed.) Singing Mountain. Oh my god. I would be so incredibly lucky if they actually played this. I'm in awe of this amazing song. I will literally listen to it on loop for hours.
9. What will trigger the end of the world? Last Battle~ Battle Against Lavos Core. Dude, we already knew Lavos destroyed the world. In 1999. Didn't I say that back in question 3? It would have been funny if another character theme came up. It would be like, "Robo? You destroyed the world? How could you, you evil robot? I thought Lucca programmed all of those tendecies out of you!" Wait a minute! Lucca reprograms Robo early in the game but it never actually says what she does to him. Could Lucca have programmed Robo to destory the world? Lucca's evil! However, it said Lavos did it, so I'll believe Lucca's benevolent. For now.
10. What are you wearing? Wind Scene~ World Map 3. Wind, apparantly. Very solid wind that feels an awful lot like a T-shirt and shorts. Wow, Lucca, you learned how to turn wind into clothing! Using renewable resources to make clothes- you should get the Nobel Prize for that. You actually should have gotten a prize for a lot of things such as turning the human race into robots and controlling all of us Matrix style. Question: If you kill Lavos, the one who destroys the world, should you get a Nobel Peace Prize? You're creating peace by killing.
That was way too fun. Round two!
1. Who are you? Confusing Melody. I'm a confusing melody? Or am I just confusing Melody? Actually this song can be translated as Strains of Insanity and that is... actually really true. I won't say why.
2. Are you alive? Corridors of Time~ World Map Theme 6. Oh dear. This will be hard to answer. This is the theme song for the magical kingdom of Zeal, which is full of a lot of dreams and weird stuff. Um. Let's see. I could be either a dream or a... Nu! I'll be a Nu! Nus are these weird blue animalistic things that talk. According to a book, everything begins and end with Nu. I'm a Nu! Allright! I don't know if they're alive or not. IThat would be hard to say. That's quite true for me, too, but I won't say why. Again.
3. Is this the real life? Sealed Door. That's about as clear as Underground Sewer... The Sealed Door is another Zeally kind of thing. You're not sure if it's real or not. It's magical. Which is again really appropriate but again I can't say why (much to the reader's annoyance, I'm sure, but I've been sworn not to tell anyone). Sealed Door is so sad sounding.
4. Why are we here? Remains of the Factory. This was also translated as Derelict Factory, a place where robots are produced. We're robots! This supports my Lucca-Matrix theory! Well, you guys are all robots, and I'm a Nu. There actually is a Nu in the future with all the robots but you kind of have to kill it once it has given you all of it's memories... I'm not so sure I want to be a Nu.
5. What item is next to you? Good Night. Either a good night, or Mr. Coconut.
6. What was the last thing you ate? Frog's Theme. Oops. I'm so sorry, Frog! I never meant to eat my second favorite character! (Coincidentally, Lucca is my favorite character.)
7. Where do you live? Primitive Mountain. Come to think of it, there actually is a Nu there, and it doesn't die, either.
8. What song will play at your funeral? Johnny of the Robo Gang. Really? Really? The most upbeat song in the whole game plays at my funeral? I think I jinxed it. I thought, "I beat Johnny of the Robo Gang is going to come up on the funeral question."
9. What will trigger the end of the world? Guardia Castle. Really? That doesn't make any sense. Wait. In one ending of the game (there's fourteen) Dalton (he's some important minister person in antiquity (the Zeal kingdom). He tries to take over the kingdom and fails. And then he gets thrown into a time portal by Lavos) does gather the town of Porre and they attack Guardia. So, if Guardia destroyed them, the king might grow power hungry and start attacking the world. (After all, he's been a little nuts ever since his wife died.) He might hire Lucca to rebuild the Mammon Machine (a ginormous machine in antiquity that took power from Lavos. Queen Zeal used the power evilly but only her daughter Schala with her pendant could command the machine. However, a bunch of time warpy stuff happened and Lucca ended up with Schala's reincarnation, Kid, and Schala's pendant.) and make Kid or Lucca command the Mammon Machine to give him power. Eventually, he might try to summon Lavos and Lavos would destroy the world.
10. What are you wearing? Battle 2. Well, have you ever seen a Nu wearing clothes? I think not.
If you read through all this randomness, I applaud you and you can have a cat. His name is Alphadore. Janus: Don't give them my cat!!! (And this was the real reason Janus turned evil...)
(July 27, 2013 - 1:51 pm)
@Red
Or maybe you're me, but you're really confusing.
(July 27, 2013 - 7:50 pm)
Funny, I never thought I was Melody. Here! You can have a free, adorable, purple and white cat for reading the whole long post thingymabob.
(July 28, 2013 - 2:49 pm)
I mean, I never thought I was Melody, either, but here I am, typing away under that name.
Also, thank you. I shall name it Jeeves.

I was in the shower when this came to me and I think I broke a record for finishing a shower in such a short time.
So, in the Mothy universe, the Clockworker sisters- Irina and Elluka- are responsible for almost everything. They're in everything and they're absolutely everywhere because they can travel in time and they're powerful magicians. Eventually, they combine to form the single identity, Ma, who pretty much controls the world.
Now, in Chrono Trigger, Lucca is a young inventress and best friend to the main character, Crono. She can travel in time via a time machine and she likes to build robots and machines. If you read my lengthy theory up there, you'll also know she pretty much controls the world and lives forever. Kid is her adopted sister who is a re-incarnation of the princess of antiquity, Schala. Schala is also incredibly powerful as a magician and I think Kid is too (but I'm not sure because Kid only really appears in the sequel Chrono Cross, which I have not played).
Now. This is what hit me. Elluka has a singer that her name is derived from- Luka. Luka and Lucca sound identical when you say them out loud. Elluka has blond hair and blue eyes- just like Kid. Irina has pink-red hair and red eyes- just like Lucca. Irina calls Elluka her sister even though they're not really sisters (nothing in the Mothy universe is uncomplicated. They're counterparts.). Both the Clockworkers and Lucca and Kid can time travel. If Lucca is really as powerful as she is in my above thingymajig, then she is just as powerful as Ma, the combined Clockworkers. The Clockworkers names imply that they work with clockwork- just as Lucca does. I assume she might teach Kid the same trade. Kid has been re-incarnated, like the Clockworkers do when they combine into Ma, indicating that she can reincarnate herself again (everyone in that series reincarnated themselves. I believe it's because Mothy ran out of singers, so instead of having less characters, he just reincarnated them all a bunch so their voices sound the same. Hey, Ruby, do you know who Ma's singer is? Is she Luka? And are Irina and the Master of the Graveyard related? Meiko sings both of them.).
So. What if everything that happens in the Mothy universe actually happened in Chrono Trigger? The kingdoms all have different names, but names could change, right? After all, there's no way of knowing the names of the places between 1000 A.D.and 2300 A.D. Names change in 1300 years. Certainly, the names in our world did. Hmm. A.D. is used in Chrono Trigger but E.C. is used in the Mothyverse. How about E.C. is everything after the apocalypse? I don't know what E.C. stands for, I'll get back to you on that. Anyway, Lucca figured out how to turn the human race into robots and stuff and then she and Kid disguised themselves as powerful witches- (why do they use Elluka when it's so similar to Lucca? Because everyone in the Mothyverse have names that sound really similar to each other. Allen and Len, Elluka and Luka, Chartette and Teto....) and went and ran the Mothyverse! It's genius! It's, it's, it's- I should probably go to bed now if I'm raving like this.
Captcha says xnda. Isn't that a witch in Neopets? Xanda? Or is that just Xana? Xandra? I can't remember.
(August 9, 2013 - 12:22 am)
Okay I kinda cheated because I just used the names of the songs that were playing on the stereo at my house because I don't have an MP3 player and my computer is confusing.
1. Who are you? It Won't Be Long (The Beatles)
2. Are you alive? All I've Got To Do (The Beatles)
3. Is this the real life? All My Loving (The Beatles)
4. Why are we here? Don't Bother Me (The Beatles)
5. What item is right next to you? Little Child (The Beatles)
6. What was the last thing you ate? Till There Was You (The Beatles)
7. Where do you live? Please Mister Postman (The Beatles)
8. What song will play at your funeral? Roll Over Beethoven (The Beatles)
9. What will trigger the end of the world? Hold Me Tight (The Beatles)
10. What are you wearing? You Really Got A Hold On Me (The Beatles)
(July 27, 2013 - 3:02 pm)
That's OK! I did that my first time when I was MP3-player-less, too!
Yours are really funny, Watermelon! Especially 8 (because Roll Over can also mean to die...sometimes), 9, and 10 (your clothes are just a person hugging you?!)
(July 27, 2013 - 5:54 pm)
