I have been getting your magazine for about 3-4 years. I absoulutly LOVE to read! I read mostly about the Holocaust because I want to be a Holocaust historian when I grow up. Is anybody interested in the Holocaust, too? I was just wondering if Cricket could put in some more stories on the Holocaust. Some kids don't really know what the Holocaust is, and I think that is really sad. Also, some people don't think it ever really happened!!!!! To Lauren M. (Feb. 09), I LOVE the Laura Ingalls books, too!! My favorite is the first one. 

I also really like to write. I think it is an awesome way to express myself. Right now I am writing a short story for a magazine that only comes out once a year in Montana. It's chock full of stories, drawing, and poems from kids around the state. I hope I can get my story put in there!

Does anyone speak another langauge? I am learing how to speak Spanish. It is really fun. Every year my family goes to Mexico. My family and I go off the usual paths that most tourists go on. Once I got to go to a Mayan Church!!!! That was really cool.

I really like Cricket because so many people from all over read it and it is AWESOME! Hey by the way, if there are any guys out there, PLEASE write!!!

Firstly, I want to say that an 83-year-old Holocaust SURVIVOR came to our school a few days ago. It was amazing! And also really sad. 

And secondly, I love the Little House books, too. They are so good!

And thirdly, a huge welcome to our newest Chatterbox member!

Wow, that's amazing about the Holocaust survivor, Willa. At our synagogue for Yom Ha'Shoah (Holocaust Rememberance Day), there was a Holocaust survivor there. He even showed us his yellow star. I know what you mean: it's amazing and sad. :(
