Doreen Rappaport came to my school today!

Has anybuggy heard of Doreen Rappaport? She wrote some very beautifully illustrated books which are mostly biographies of American Heroes. Like John's Secret Dreams (it's about John Lennon who isn't American ;) ) or Abe's Honest Words (Abraham Lincoln). And Eleanor Quiet No More (about Eleanor Roosevelt). They are AWESOME books.

So, does anyone else here know about her?

I think we've read Abe's Honest Words. I don't know much about her, though. But it's cool that she came to your school! :)
