FOOD!!! OK, for

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

FOOD!!! OK, for

FOOD!!! OK, for my religion, we do this thing called Lent where you give up soemthing important to you for about a month. This year I am going to give up meat, and go vegetarian! My only problem is this: I play a lot of sports, so I need some cold hard protein to keep me going without eating meat. Any suggestions? I already am betting on beans, eggs, and peanut butter, any others?

It's cool that you're a lector and altar server-my brother plays the piano for Mass at least once a week, and my sister and I sing. Also, I play the flute with him when he does the piano.:):):) It's really fun!:):):)

No, I'm a Christian, but they're pretty close to the same, just some fine-tuned bits that are different. Do Catholics do Lent, too?

I had no idea that so many people in Chatterbox were veggies. That's really cool!

I'm Jewish, but it sounds great what you're doing! My family isn't vegetarian (we have too many other food issues), but I know a lot of people are. I think cheese is a protien; maybe you could try that.

My family doesn't often make our own food, we eat frozen stuff a lot. (yuck!)  But sometimes, when my dad isn't busy (HA!) him and me make weird food out of veggies and tofu and spices and it always tastes SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Anyway, last night my mom decided to try it, so she took tofu, red bell peppers, and onions.  She sort of stir fried them with some poultry seasoning and maybe something else, but not as far as I know.  Anyway!  It was delicous!!!!!!  You should ahve your parents try doing something like that!  Just go to the grocery store and get tofu and some veggies that you like.  The way you figure out what spices to use, is you just smell the stuff your making, and then smell the spices, and see which smell good together!!!!!!  Hope I helped!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
