Chatterbox: Down to Earth
OK, so I
OK, so I left for a few days and now there seem to be fifty million new people posting. So, I just wanted to introduce myself to these new CBers and leave a place for you to introduce yourself. Hopefully, this introduction thread doesn't turn into another Lemming War:3
I'm Melody. You can call me Mel or Melly if you want. I'm kind of Disney obsessed. That's basically what I'm known for around here. My location switches from Disney location to Disney location. My favorite place in the world is Disney World and my favorite movie is The Little Mermaid.
Two of my characters you are going to hear a lot about are Sonny and Leota, because they're really good for adding comedy into a situation. I overuse them for that reason. Sonny is a psychic supermodel. She was supposed to be all nice, but I left the thread for a few days, and now she's a self-absorbed sterotypical supermodel. Leota was just supposed to be sarcastic, but while I was writing in this superhero roleplay, she became sarcastic and bossy and just plain rude. She's half-ghost. Neither of them obey me. They're pretty much their own entities now. I really wouldn't be surprised if some tall brunette named Sonny Jefferson became a famous supermodel next year. Wait a second. Sonny is short for Madison. I named a character Madison Jefferson. *facepalm* I didn't even realize she was named after two presidents. Anyways, Leota was based after Madame Leota (her hair even has green and purple streaks in it) from The Haunted Mansion, so she already pretty much already exists. I'm writing a suspense story for my English class, and they're both going to be in it because I'm pretty sure my English teacher is going to think I'm messed up if I don't have some sort of comedy in my story. Knowing the villain site of my writing (I was voted most heartless villain in a thread here once), the story's gonna be intense.
I'm sorry, I'm kinda proud and annoyed by Sonny and Leota so much I tend to ramble on about them...
My literary heroes are Ray Bradbury, Edgar Allen Poe, and John Green. They're all geniuses. My favorite book series are (I don't have favorite books, just favorite series b/c there's just too many) The Kingdom Keepers by Ridley Pearson, The Kane Chronicles/Percy Jackson and the Olympians/The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan, and anything by John Green (Ok, maybe that's not a series...).
So, how about you guys.

The Melody is right! There have been many new people on the CB, at least about a couple months after I joined. Many people have been ish leaving too, sadness. Not that we don't like all the new people. But many people have been not as much posting. Boo-hoo. Sooooo, I'll assume we treat this thread as a directory of Chatterboxers. I am the Gollum or the Holmes. Mostly I reside in Mooseflower, with vacations to Baker Street on occasion. I have been in a couple RPs, but not so much anymore. The problem with me is everything. I am about 7.1459 on the quirky scale around here (The likes of Sakura and Red being about 10.) I play VIOLA. V-I-O-L-A. Not a violin. The viola is way better. Toadally. I also play upright bass, electric bass, acoustic guitar and clarinet (as of Friday.) I am a knitting person, meaning that knitting is a thing that happens to me. I read a lot. The best authors are tied at Daniel Pinkwater and John Green. Then about everything else I read is penultimate. I overthink things. Just because I have nothing else to do. Like saying that a unicycle is more ecological than a bicycle. But then I overthink that and say the a bicycle is more ecological than a unicycle. I think I overthunk pie at one point. I like modern classical music. And Owl City, various Broadway musicals and Andes Manta at certain times when Jupiter alines with.......limes. I like that song too. Nyarsh. I write (I think I didn't mention this). Elemental Magic is my current novel, but Nanowrimo will be disturbing my concious in 3 days, 18 hours, 39 minutes and 59 seconds. Nyarsh. Nyarsh is a word I made up, to be used when you can't be bothered to say supercalifragilistiexpiallydocious. I think that's how you spell it. You can also use it place of various cussing terminoligies. My favorite four letter words are book and tree. And libr-rary. and cats. Ummmm, I think I have exhausted the discriptiveness of myself. Other than that I've been on the Chatterbox since May 14th this year. Soooo. Erm. *exit center stage* Oh. yes! I act. And the Gollum likes to talk in the third person on occasions.

Yay! I'm a ten! Out of what? Ten?
I deny I am a ten. I am a 6.02
(October 30, 2012 - 5:47 pm)
*supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
The easiest way to remember is to get the Broadway song stuck in your head *big grin*
Oh, and *squee* another clarinetist. I've been playing since fifth grade.
On the subject of music, I like everything from classic Disney to pop to alternative to oldies. Seriously, just ask me about a song and I should know it (unless it's really obscure, obscure Disney songs being an exception). If I don't know it and it's not country or rap, my dad should...
(October 28, 2012 - 4:50 pm)
I'm not actually a clarinetist, techincally. The extent of my repetoire is Mary had a little lamb. Gosh, that's pathetic, once you think about it.
(October 30, 2012 - 7:01 pm)
I is in agreement.
Hello, EVERYBODY! I am Leah-the-Great. Just call me L. Seriously. You may find me in Michigan. Get a map. Ash is a friend of mine, and she informs me that she's coming back soon.
I am in high school, play tenor sax in the marching/concert band and bari in the jazz band. I like Death Note, Fruits Basket, Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood is TRUE TO THE MANGA, I don't like that fake stuff), D Gray Man, and other things like that. Shounen is better than shoujo en mi opinión.
Expect to see random Spanish words in my posts. Most of them are cognates or really basic, so the Admins don't care and you can figure them out. It's not like I'm going to randomly say "Fui a la biblioteca ayer" unless I really needed to, which I doubt would happen. If I wanted to say "I went to the library yesterday" I'd say it in English.
But I digress. My favorite braintoys are Felicity, Markus, and Niko from my NaNo last year. They live in Revolutionary-War-era England in a steampunk AU. I have to say, it's pretty sweet. Felicity ran away from home to find her brother who went missing during the war and stowed away on Niko's airship (he's the captain, bro Markus is the pilot. Mmyep.)
I have not joined the Lemming War. I choose to stay neutral and reside on this bit of land that I believe Quintus has claimed.
Sherlock is the best show ever invented, except possibly Doctor Who. Moffat! Ahem. I guess I just like BBC. Because Merlin's pretty cool too.
...I should probably shut up now. Goodbyyyyeee!
(October 28, 2012 - 5:24 pm)
Oh, yes, I do not believe I have listed my stance in the Lemming Wars. I was the *neutral* commentator.
(October 28, 2012 - 7:46 pm)
I'm not on any side in the Lemming Wars, however I might read the thousands of comments and mentally be rooting for one team or another.
