Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Anecdotes/Random/Whatever

Anecdotes/Random/Whatever

Because there hasn't been a random thread for a while. And because I like hearing everybody's random anecdotes.

And because it's ironic that I used to pretend to cast the imperius curse on my cat, and now he gets his revenge by casting it on me. It's like this.

Joey: Meow. Meow. Meow.

Me: Joey, you can't go out right now. It's after dark.

Joey: *eye glisten* Meow.

Me: Stop it.

Joey: Meow... Meow?

Me:  No. I will not open the door for you. Just standing there meowing will not make me open the door for you so just quit.

Joey: Meow. Meow. Meow.

Me:  No! You can't go out! *said while opening door*

Joey: *bolts*

Me: GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I guess I need to work on my occlumency...

I went to Panera bread yesterday.  Apparently they have good brownies.

They have good bread and soup, too!

NO. DO NOT SPOIL. This thread will not be a catalyst for spoilers. I don't want to stay off my own thread... :'(

YES. It is awesome. But I will NOT SPOIL, because I had to wait for several days after it aired to see it and I lived in constant fear of being spoiled (I wasn't though, so yay!) and... yeah. Not spoiling. (But it's awesome, and it's in places online by now so... watch it if you haven't.)

I was thinking of starting one of these myself, but I never got the time or the guts to...

...anyway, you did it for me, thanks very much, my dear...

So, randomness!

I am a stalker.

Hey, wait, don't run away screaming- I'm not like a creepy stalker or anything, I've just been following this one girl's tumblr, since I love her writing and I think she's an awesome person in general, so yeah.  So I finally sent her an anonymous message on tumblr and SHE RESPONDED THIS IS SO AWESOME.

You don't even know how pathetically I idolize her writing.  Seriously.

BUT SHE RESPONDED. THIS IS TOO COOL AND I'VE BEEN QUIETLY WORSHIPPING HER FOREVER.

Yeah.  Very irrational.  That's me. Sorry.

*ducks hail of flying objects*

Your stare was holdin'

~Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen

Hahaha
Have you seen the Barack Obama version? (Some person on youtube took clips out of Obama's speeches to turn them into Call me Maybe.)

And there's another really good one called Call Me Maybe: The Ice. (I'm a big figure skating fan.)

The Beatles have been stuck in my head all day.  Now I'm listening to 1.  I think my choice to listen to 1 yesterday has started me on a Beatles kick.  OMG, "Day Tripper" is on now.  It's an odd choice for a favorite Beatles song, but I love it.

So.  Platypi like cake.
