First of all, I LOVED all of the crowd sorcery! I came a bit too late to help with it, but it was a BRILLIANT idea!
I loved reading every chapter, and would always skip to the crowd sorcery part of the magazine to read first. When I got to the end of the last part, I was very pleased with the ending. I thought that Fable's idea to drip the wax onto the paper to make the reverse prophecy was genius!
All of the chapters were beautifully illustrated, and it was a pleasure just to look at the pictures!
All in all, I hope you do another crowd sorcery, because I am just brimming with inspiration and ideas, and would probably die of happiness if my character was chosen.
Awesome job!! :D

I completely agree, Elah! It was an amazing story and I always awaited it every month! It's my favorite so far!
I liked it so much that I have a question: Can this be an annual thing? I know everyone had a great time creating characters, fantasy words, and plots, so I was wondering if it was possible.

Yes, it NEEDS to be an annual thing!

Elah, thank you so much for your kind words! I am delighted that you enjoyed "The Girl Who Writes the Future" so much! I'm really happy to know that you liked the ending, too! Yes, you should definitely jump on board when the next Crowd-Sorcery project launches, whenever that may be! I know we'd all like to read your ideas!
Speaking of Fable's wax-dripping at the end: I think I got that idea more or less from the years I spent in Japan. I heard the story that, when the samurai long ago would send letters or written orders to one another, there was always the danger that enemies would intercept them or try to send fake letters. One famous samurai used this trick: when he would sign his letters, he would first pluck out a strand of hair. He would lay the hair on the paper and sign his name over it. When he pulled away the hair, certain tiny gaps would be left in his signature. His trusted family and associates knew where these gaps should be, and if they weren't there, they would know the letter hadn't come from him. Pretty clever, huh? I think that's what led me to Fable's idea for defeating Khaos -- that, plus three Chatterboxers' cool ideas of lamps that float around in the air, a way of storing sunlight in powder, and a brownish glop for repairing shoes. All those ideas came together in this story!

How interesting!
This really should be an annual thing!!! Please keep writing!

It was a great story, everyone did an amazing job. I just think it's odd that Fable basically was sweating wax. I mean, I don't think it's possible to sweat wax; it's possible to sweat blood, and water, but not wax...

We should definitely do another crowd sorcery! It looks really fun, but I came too late to do it... :( It's so fun to make heroes, heriones, villians, and sidekicks!!!

Fred, your writing was incredible! I loved the story that you wrote. It made it come to life! Thank you so much for putting in my Crowd Sorcery words as well, you did an awesome job! Thank you!
Emily, your drawings were awesome! You're a fantistic artist. Your drawings really helped the story come to life. Thank you so much!
To all other CBers, did you guys realize that crowd sorcery has been going for almost a year? I just thought about it and did the math. The whole CS contest has been a blast. That's when I first heard about Chatterbox.
I would like to ask the people that did the Contest to PLEASE DO IT AGAIN! I thank you guys so much for setting up that contest, it was SO much fun. Thanks again!

Thank you, Will! It's wonderful to hear from you! And it was an honor to use your Fantasy Dictionary words -- they were superb! They did their part in helping the story to take shape.

Hi Will,
Thanks for writing! It's hard to believe it's already been a year, isn't it? It went by so fast!
Thank you for your wonderful contributions to Crowd Sorcery! Without the great ideas you and the other Crowd Sorcerors shared, "The Girl Who Writes the Future" would not have been the same. (If I remember correctly, in addition to your dictionary words you came up with the sidekick Rax, didn't you? I liked him!) It was exciting to work on a project that many people of all ages and from different places helped to bring to life. I'm happy to have been a part of it.
Best wishes,
Emily
